Please pray for my Oldest Daughter. After 14 years of working at the same place, she is now out of a job. She is very depressed about not having money at this time of year, to give her children a Great Christmas. Would you please pray that she finds peace and happiness this Christmas Season?

Out of the blue this morning, her sister transferred money into her account and told her to pay it back when she can!

As you know this is the DD that lives with us, so she will not find herself out of home and hearth.

Made it through the funeral and my uncle and cousins are doing as well as expected. Unfortunately when we got home from the funeral I had a message from MIL that one of their lifelong family friends passed away today. My wife is taking it extremely hard. Too many things in too short a time. Not sure what our plans are at this point. We may try to stay for the visitation at least but it is weather and timing dependent. I haven't been in the office since November 22nd and while I don't miss it I have a lot of work that is coming due and less and less time to get it done.

Our case worker for our adoption is donating a kidney to one of t he first children she placed from Bulgaria. His name is Gavin, hers is Nina. Without a kidney Gavin would not live beyond the next couple of years and he is too far down the waiting list. Please keep them both in your prayers as Gavin has his only kidney removed and is put on dialysis until his transplant surgery.

The funeral for the friend of SWMBO's family isn't going to be until Saturday so we visited the family and headed south. They are coping as well as can be expected.

Got some bad news just now.

A very good friend and somewhat a mentor had an embolism after coming back from a vacation in Europe. Just got out of the hospital but before they released him, he was diagnosed with cancer in both lungs and the liver. No plan yet on how to fight it.
