DIS Dads The Official DisDads Prayer and Praise Thread

Prayers for my dad please. He was in the ER all day. Thankfully it wasn't his heart this time (he had a massive heart attack almost 2 years ago and coded on the table 3 times) though that was what the rescue squad thought. The MDs think it is probably vertigo. He had it several years ago but was hoping once was enough. Don't need this drama now just as things may finally be improving but he turned 75 earlier this month. Frustrating because if I stilled had the OH job we were only 6 hours away vs a hard 10 from here. They just sent him home to rest up so hopefully he will improve.

Thanks guys, dad is improving. He won't be running sprints but he can stand up now without falling over.

I am glad to here that your dad is improving, as we will keep him and you in our prayers.

I am also asking for prayers for DW and her family as my FIL had recently passed away. My DW is doing better, but my MIL is taking it real hard, and is not doing real well healthwise.

I hope that each of the DisDads have a Happy Spring and Summer season. take care.

After an amazing week at the World, I received a call from my Mom with some bad news about an hour after we landed.

My Uncle, 59 years old, died in his sleep on Friday night. Seems to have been of "natural causes". A coroner's report showed no signs or any indication of any specific thing that caused his death. I guess the good Lord decided it was his time.

He had lost his wife to cancer 12 years ago. They can finally be together again.

Please keep our family in your prayers.

Keep me in your prayers too. I woke up last Monday with some major back pain. After trying to "get over it" for a few days I got an appointment with a chiropractor. She tells me that I probably have a buldging disk and bone spurs in my lower back. The x-rays and my pain level confirmed that. Thanks for the prayers in advance.
