I am home alone watching Alabama beat the crap out of Florida!! The first Saturday that DH has had to work in about three months, and he's missing this game!!

I have worn a hole in the floor pacing, screaming at the top of my lungs, my neighbors think I'm crazy! I keep calling my dad and yelling ROLL TIDE!!!

I might take my Alabama flag and run up and down the street singing the Alabama fight song. Then you all can visit me in the padded cell!

the only people that despise Miami are the ones we control. you obviously didn't watch that game. FSU friends of mine weren't really celebrating that win.

Why are you pacing?? You're worried about something? If you can't hold on against Florida when they're playing like this...

I was pacing because we were up 31-3 in the 4th quarter and the starters were still in! Sure enough...now Prothro has a freaking season ending, possibly career ending fracture of his left ankle. I could blame it on the Florida defensive player (who did get a penalty for making contact) but that would be such a sour grapes thing to say. Like something that a Gator fan would say. Hahaha.

Damn. Damn. Damn. The footage of that break is sickening. As a well-trained eye...I'm saying it is a compound fracture of both tibia and fibula. There is no way that it isn't. There is no way that the ends of those bones are anywhere near the other ends. We're talking surgery with rods, pins, etc. I don't expect him back for over a year. If ever.

Thank god for Darby, Hall, and the rest of the well-balanced offense....maybe an injury to one player won't totally decimate us like it has the last few seasons. I feel that a lot of Alabama fans have been using them as an excuse in the past, as in, "Oh, if Brodie was healthy, we'd be winning," etc. Bullcrap. I love em, but Alabama has sucked the past few years. This is the first season that I've felt good about anything other than our defense in a while.

I didn't see the injury because I turned it off. Prothro's a great player. Great job and Congrats Tide - you took it to us today. Think we're a better team than that, but today was your day

Thanks, Soda.. I think you guys are a lot better than that, too. Although a little dependent on your passing game. Sorry, had to say it. But there is no shame in losing to Alabama this year...our defense is the second best in the country. I just hope they don't let this go to their heads, or let Prothro's injury get them down...it doesn't take much. Thank god we're off next week and can recoup and rework our offense around the huge hole that is there now.

I really didn't expect to win today. It was a nice surprise. It could have only been sweeter if Spurrier was still coaching...oh, wait, we've already beaten him this year!

The DB-WR matchups were what surprised us - we thought that was a strength, but you were better. I still love our staff. No shame in losing to the Tide, and I thought it could happen, but I never imagined it would be like that. But ya'll deserve the credit

Well, our WRs used to be a strength before we lost Caldwell. Last week they were just taking advantage of a sorry secondary.

Anyway, Tide played a great game but I can't say there's no shame for Florida, that's just ridiculous. For shame Florida... we played like crap! There's definitely shame in as sorry a performance as that.

the Gators got shut down on the run, and the wideouts couldn't catch a ball. it was frustrating watching Leak being so..frustrated. he's one hell of QB. even in the 4th quarter he was trying make something happen, and nothing was going his way.

Protho's injury made my stomach turn in the replay. you've got to love that focus, drive, and 'give me the ball' attitude. but it will go down as a possible career-threatening injury over a TD that made no difference in the end. that sucks. at least he was able to sit up and salute the crowd. that was impressive.

You can't have it both ways either FSU beat you this year versus your guys lost it or Really all those games FSU lost on a missed kick was only them losing the game not your guys winning it.
