After we won a big game a few years ago (can't remember who or if it was basketball or fb), our victory was overshadowed in the national news by the coverage of the sofa burning. Grrr!!!!!!
I do not go downtown on a Saturday night after a home football game...crazy students!
The OB is no where near as loud as the Swamp. No where close. It wouldn't be close even if they could fill it up. But no one wants to go to the games because if they filled it to capacity, it'd probably fall apart. Well, that and because no one cares and the stadium isn't even on campus.FSUGrad97 said:A win is a win...

Yup... and this year there have already been many games better than that snoozefest you guys are talking about.Jonas Grumby said:I did also want to ask one thing. Do they even play college football outside the state of Florida? Go Noles!

But it'll always be Mountaineer Field to me.
They already lost to F$U, and they'll probably lose three or four more to finish right in the middle of the pack...where they always will. BC athletics are over. They belong in the ACC about as much as they belong in the PAC10.

come on, we recruit our defense right out of jails, we need to keep them in their element. Coach Coker has said that games are won outside the OB as the opposing team's bus is driving up to the stadium. you've got to love that. but that's why college football is the greatest, the traditions and the rivalries. Raymond James Stadium is very nice, but it it doesn't have the 'feeling' that the OB, Doak, or Swamp has.Let's see after this weekend. I'll be curious to see your post(s) after that. So there's NO school that is MORE overrated than VT, in the whole country? That's fine. And actually, a lot of good sportswriters disagree a lot with you about Marcus Vick. Most actually believe that at this stage of his career, he is much better than Mike. He has a better touch on the pass, he is just as quick, if not quicker, and he makes better decisions. His off-the-field antics aside (this is, I thought, about college football, not college life), he is leading a really great team really well this year, I think.wvrevy said:4 - Virginia Tech is the single most overrated school in the country. Just 'cause the kid's name is Vick, doesn't mean he's as good as his brother. Michael earned his reputation for winning. The only big win Marcus has to his credit is pleading out his statutory rape case into a contributing to the deliquency of a minor charge.![]()
