Not that you could tell but GEEEEEORGIA BULLLLLDAWGS!!!! :cool1:

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We hate Gators, Vols (Rocky Top), Yellow Jackets!!!!! We already roasted the Chicken this year and flavored it with a little Spurrier!!

I really don't trash talk that much I come from the Vince Dooley school of being careful and let the game show our strengths. BUT it is nice to cheer once in a while!! That being said we are the only house in this Clemson-South Carolina neighborhood that is covered in Bulldog Flags etc. :teeth:

Good luck to all college teams this year! And GO DAWGS!!!!!

Another Bulldog fan here. :wave2: I'm not a *huge* football fan, but I am an alum so I kind of root for them when I think about it.

My brother still lives in Athens (within walking distance to campus), so I enjoy going there on game days and tailgating, even if I don't actually go to the game. :drinking1

I'm Ohio State born and bred but I have a love for the Huskers of Nebraska (can't beat 'em, join 'em that turned into a true love) and I have a little soft spot for the Mountaineers. ND is a given (bein' the good Catholic girl I am and all :rotfl: ). So my heart is really divided.
As for "enemies" - Michigan, Oklahoma and Penn State - don't ask why, just don't care for 'em. :confused3

I'll be there Saturday (I think), and will be cheering on the Mountaineers to send the traitors to the ACC in style...with a nice beating to remember us by.

WVRevy -

Do me a favor and Cheer SUPER LOUD for me too.. I will be at WDW so I will miss the game but I have my WVU Tshirt and hat all ready to wear and will be checking the scores via Nextel with my son who will be at the game!

LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS... HOKIES NEED ANOTHER SPANKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hokies are going to embarass, humiliate and thoroughly horse-whip the 'Neers this weekend. Won't even be a close game. I heard the police are already making those psychos in WV take their furniture indoors...

Only a turkey fan would call the 'eers the 'Neers..

And yea we may burn coaches but at least we do it with style :rotfl2: not like the turtles in MD try and do LOL

This game has me nervous, Vick is good but our defense is one of the best out their per ESPN, CFN and AP so it will be awesome.

Notre Dame fan here...

The team we can't stand is Southern Cal....

I went to a game in South Bend and would you believe Southern Cal's cheerleaders were flipping off the crowd...What a disgrace!! That's just one of the reasons for disliking them...

GO IRISH!!

Hey hokie fan...a little video for you viewing "enjoyment" :teeth:

Are you ready ?

WVURevy -

Ahhh the sweet memories.. Here's hoping we get a repeat Saturday.

BTW - Do you visit the Blue and Gold boards?

Let's Go MOUNTAINEERS!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

UNC Grad here. We beat NC State last weekend. Good stuff. All 3 games have been close ones so far. I think we have good upside. Still have a pretty rough schedule though, including Miami at Miami (they're mad cause we beat them last year), Louisville at Louisville, & Va Tech in Blacksburg. Utah, Virginia, Boston College, Maryland and Duke all come to Chapel Hill.

My other school is Florida. Some good wins already. Personally, I think the hype machine is in overdrive right now. Still have to play Alabama, LSU, and South Carolina away; Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Florida State at home; and Georgia @ the WLOCP.

Oh, and I'm sorry, but I've seen games in several different stadiums (including Lane Stadium in Blacksburg - multiple games there) and nowhere is as loud as the Swamp. It's like nothing you've ever seen.

I've actually written for the Blue and Gold News, so yeah, I lurk on the board quite a bit :teeth: Been a while, but Kevin has asked me to write a guest column now and then. In fact, I was going to do one just before the season on how funny it was that the so-called "experts - you know, the guys that have been tearing down the Big East pretty much since it's inception - had picked three former Big East teams to be at the top of the suddenly ALL POWERFULL ACC. :rotfl: The point being that, since they obviously didn't know what they were talking about then, why should anyone take them seriously now ? :teeth:

I've also written for the wvsports.com site and done some work as a Big East correspondant for a national site (a spin off by one of the FoxSports radio personalities), but have gotten away from it for a while. It was taking up too much time and the pay wasn't worth the stuff I was missing. :teeth:

To Ophie: - I've never attended a game in the swamp, but I've heard it's about as tough as it gets. Lane is ok, but I hesitate to say anything that could be misconstrued as a compliment for the backstabbers, so that's all I'll say :teeth: Still, I've seen crowds much larger than we get at Mountaineer Field, and none of them compared to the two games I mentioned...and I expect this Saturday to be right up there with them.

The Swamp is insane. I've only had first row seats once and my ears were in serious serious pain when I left. Lane's pretty loud, especially when you sit near the Skipper. But I've not been since they finished the upgrades. I totally expect the WVU/VATech game this weekend to be crazy... at least in the first quarter.

Roll Tide here

A good Saturday is when the Tide rolls and Auburn, Tennessee and Notre Dame all get beat.

A&M fans here! Saw em off! Our biggest rival is ut..Gigem Aggies, can't wait for november :teeth:

I always figured you guys and BC would be perfect rivals...too bad the traitors had to run and hide. :teeth: That's ok, though...they're getting theirs in the ACC these days. Personally, I plan to thoroughly enjoy watching them get beatdown every week. :rotfl:
huh? BC is 3-1 in their debut ACC season :confused3
I'm not a footabll fan, hockey's my sport, but I have to defend alma mater even though I personally don't care for the overall changes on the Heights.

The thread caught my eye because at UNH (DH's alma mater where DD is a sophomore) they're really excited about football this year and were ranked 1st in their division (I-AA) - for the first time in school history - in a Sports Network top 25 poll this week.
well, duh. but we don't really have any true rivals because we own the entire state.
To refresh your memory.....10-7

DH is an Aggie, so I root for them, too, as long as we don't play them! :teeth:

you take credit for that crapfest? we lost the game, you didn't win it. :)
plus, we'll give you one win in the last 7 meets. that's why we own you.

I agree with The Swamp. it sells out every home game, and your eardrums bleed afterward. the Orange Bowl is actually worse, but it doesn't sell out like The Swamp. I've actually seen the top of the Orange Bowl sway on a sold out night. that's flippin' scary.
