Does anyone know of a December 2014 ADR cancel posting as of yet? I have 2 to add and hoping to pick up one as well.

Where the heck are the December park hours?!? I had everything booked at this time last year knowing the hours. Is there something I'm missing or have they just not been released yet? :furious:

Thank you all. My crazy searches were just not bringing them up.
Now, that I see them, I had to change my trip to work around the MVMCP. I'm not a fan of $280 for 'free' cocoa and cookies. I know wishes is a bit different, and the parade is christmas themed. But, my kids and myself could care less. Thanks again for the info! :) :thumbsup2

Well, looks like I may need to start all over with my plans after looking at that Crowd calendar. Everything that I had planned was in the wrong park on the wrong day, lol! We may be stuck fighting the crowds, though, because we may not be able to get reservations for our meals now! Lots more research to do for me!

Sorry I've been away for a while. And I apologize if this has been mentioned. But, according to DIS, there is no longer a private viewing area, for Illuminations, for those that get the Candlelight Processional dining combo. I just wanted to let everyone know, and hopefully, this will be reversed.

Remember that these are only predictions based off of previous years. If you have already planned park days and made ADR's based off of that, I wouldnt change too much. You can still get lots accomplished if you hit RD, get FP+ picked early enough, and try to tour efficiently. I dont know what your specific dates are, but I wouldnt stress too much if I were you. There's no way to really avoid crowds, but at least youre doing it at DW.

Now we are rethinking going at Christmas. Part of that is time to save money and cost in general- hotels being $500/night!- and part of that being the crowds. If we go a couple months later, it will be cheaper and less crowded. The problem is getting the kids out of school.

Hi everyone! :goodvibes

Just booked a trip to Disney for 12/22-12/27 this morning & I CAN'T WAIT! My mom and I were talking about how long it's been since her, my brother and I all went on a trip just the 3 of us so Disney for Christmas it is :cheer2:

Just moved out girl's long weekend from November to December 5th-8th!We even upgraded to CSR!It will be myself, my mom, my cousin, and my aunt. This is my Aunt's first ever trip to Disney World and the rest of them have never seen the World at Christmas except me!This will be so much fun!I even just snagged a CP ressie on the 6th at Coral Reef, and on the 5th we are going to the Christmas Party!:cool1:

Can I join in on the fun? My manager just approved my vacation time yesterday, and my sister starting making our ADRs today! We have to wait until payday to officially book because MVMCP tickets have to be paid for, but we will staying at All Star Music December 16th-22nd. Me, sister, her husband, and their daughter.

Last trip the four of us took together, Mary Poppins asked if I was the nanny. When my niece corrected her, she replied, "Oh, the unpaid nanny!" Can't wait though!

Me and the grandparents are going 12/19-12/24! So excited! I have been to Disney numerous times but never during Christmas! Really Excited!

And it's not just vacation time it's expensive the entire month of December! We are taking our son out of school (he will take his work with him) Dec 5 - 14 and hotels are still $500 per night!

We thought about staying at Art of Animation, much more reasonable than Beach Club, but I wanted to be closer to Epcot. :confused3

If you change you dates, spring break time is brutal, crowds and heat. At least at Christmas the weather is pleasant. :santa:

Good luck! :surfweb:

I've decided that we're going to camp in a tent or two at fort wilderness. I just can't do the $500 a night. And we can't seem to get the time off any other time but Christmas.

The only problem is my sister. She says the airfare is out of her price range. (She's flying from LA.) I also don't think she'd be willing to sleep in a tent. I think my kids and I should because of the high cost of the hotels at this time. My sister probably wouldn't be okay with her family sleeping in a tent. I would be fine with it! We were going to split a wilderness cabin, but as I say that's too expensive. I asked on the disney official site if you can put a pop up or tent on a premium RV site and the answer was a resounding 'no'. Darn it! That means back to $100/night.
