I knoooooooooow....I was really bummed about the A.C. show. I think even moreso than Foxwoods, although that whole fiasco was stressful for me too. I can't believe he isn't playing more/bigger venues in the tri-state area. It makes no sense to me. I hope he comes back to Oakdale (in Wallingford, CT) next time. It would be a perfect place for him, and he'd sell it out. I'm sure.

Actually, it's not so much THEM as it is...IT. lol My family came through and finagled a ticket from somewhere - God only knows how many people my sister had to kill for it.

Regardless, it IS a ticket, and even though it's towards the BACK of the theater, I feel much better knowing that I'll be in the building. I'm still going to try to get upgraded (and, you know, try to scheme a way to Clay...in a Disney-like manner, I promise ).

So, was there any Clay talk up there at Foxwoods? Did you ask anyone about tickets?

Oakdale?! Naw, I'm wait'n for him to come to RADIO CITY!! It has around 5000 seats. I'm sure he could see out quickly!

I believe it about Foxwoods, considering I was on the phone with them during the sell out. I called up, got through, and thanked God. Then they gave me $85 seats and (greedy little Clay-lover that I am) I asked for the $110. They transferred me to Wampum Club, which, of course, I ended up not being able to buy with my $13.96 in points (who would've thought you needed to cover the ENTIRE cost in points? That's just stupid.). So then they tried to transfer me back over, and by then, they had sold out. If I remember correctly, it was about 8:17 am. *sigh* I could've cried. Ok, fine, I in fact DID cry when I got to work and retold the story.

Anyhoo, Radio City is fine by me as well - I've had some great memories in that building with my superstar boys. I feel like, if he did a theater tour, both Oakdale and Radio City would be on the bill. I always love that - like Enrique Iglesias. His tour a couple years ago did like...all the greatest cities in the world, and there, on the bill with Sydney and New York and Chicago, is "Wallingford".


Come, Clay!! Come back to Connecticut!! WE LOVE YOU!! (Especially the Fairfield County portion of the state, apparently!!

thanks for the link! but he made the video several months ago...it's already been retired on TRL after 50 days on the countdown!

i wish he'd make one for solitaire...but i would assume his next video, if he does one, would be for the new single i will carry you.

Oddly, there was no mention of Clay at the casino. No posters or anything either. I assumed it was probably since the concert was sold out. Why get people all hyped up about something they can't buy the tickets for, right? I was hoping there would be a life-sized cut out so I could get my picture taken with him .

That's strange that Foxwoods isn't promoting Clay. Caesar's Atlantic City is still promoting Clay (billboard, newspaper ads, announcements on Caesar's PA, etc.), and his concert sold out in less than 5 minutes. Talk about things that make you go "hmmmm!"

Hi gang! I've missed the Clay board! My parents computer (and internet connection) aren't so hot, so it's tough to get on the boards. I miss the Clay fix though! I go to WDW in 11 days and 3 days after I get back I see Clay. I don't think I can handle this!! Glad to hear his shows are going well. Can't wait to have Aladdin... for the movie of course... not because of Clay.... Well, maybe a little of both. Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say hi and I'll post after Columbus! Miss you all!!!

Granted, my chances, as a lonely girl in the very last row, aren't very high, but...well...needless to say, I'm not quite sure WHAT I would do!! Mind you, I'm not much of a dancer, but with Clay leading.....

Sarah: (Even though you won't get to read this for a while, judging from your last post)

I actually interned at MAW, too!! That's how I ended up a volunteer. I started as a PR/Development intern and stayed on to do office work and whatnot. Then they let me do a couple of wish escorts, and I couldn't leave them - it's such a great group of people to work with, and I love hearing the wish stories. Especially when they're happy ones (like Clay) that makes me really just feel warm and fuzzy about people who actually try to make a difference. And that is actually why I broke my vow not to get caught up in the Clay hoopla.



And now I'm beyond smitten.

Clay was awesome!! The place was packed. Must have been a sell-out. My seats were not too great. I was really disappointed as I purchased "best available" the day they went on sale. We did have the screens to watch so that helped some.
