And this is why I never much liked Jason to being with. I couldn't believe this man who claimed the sun rose and set with his kid would go off for weeks/months to try to find a wife on TV.


I really think they should not allow single parents on this show. Picking a spouse is one thing, but when you are picking someone who is also going to be a step-parent, there needs to be a lot more care and time involved in that decision. I know the chance of him actually marrying whomever he picks is less than slim, but it bothers me to involve a small child in this whole process. How often will the kid actually see this woman before Jason has to decide??

Even though I can't stand Jason, I will still be watching.. I thought Shelby was ok, but she's gone. Nikki seemed fake to me. I was not buying the doting aunt angle she played. Shannon was a nut but I think more honest than many of the rest and I'll enjoy watching her there. Despite the hot dogs, I actually liked Jillian. The rest didn't stand out to me. I am glad vision board chick is gone though!

I had to pause for a second when reading this because that's my name and you don't hear/see it often!

Well, I really liked Jason last season and I look forward to following his journey again. I believe that Jason would NEVER have gone on the show before if he didn't KNOW without a doubt that his son was being well taken care of and in a happy place.

I absolutely hate the fact that Deanna is on her THIRD 15 minutes of fame. It looks from the previews that she will try to worm her way into Jason's life yet again. The woman has major issues. Maybe she should seek counseling instead of TV time!

Although I find the Bachelor/Bachelorette to be extremely entertaining, I often wonder why these people are not able to find a partner in a more conventional way. Most of them (with the exception of a few weirdos) seem to be intelligent, successful individuals and are all quite attractive. Makes me wonder what would posess a person to subject themselves to that situation? For cryin' out loud, go out and meet someone like the rest of us!!!

I don't know when she shows up. It shows her telling him that she thinks she made a mistake. Now I don't know if it's really to try to be a part of his life or if she's just giving him advice, or what. It could just be creative editing to make it LOOK like she's after him. I don't know!!!

The other girls were NOT happy about her showing up at all.

My sister had a friend who was married at age 23 and divorced soon after - maybe when she was about 25 or 26. She was absolutely beautiful, intelligent, had a good job, owned a home, loved sports, didn't smoke, drink, do drugs, and had no kids or baggage. We all thought she'd be snapped up by someone wonderful in a heartbeat.

She remained single for 14 years after her divorce and JUST got re-married a few months ago to someone she met on E-Harmony after she finally gave up on just "meeting someone". Sometimes it just isn't that easy.

Ok, I know I need to get over the girls he did not pick and start thinking about the girls he did, but it is hard!
I was hoping he'd have a connection with the dark short hair girl with the two kids...she seemed like she had some class that others did not...

The jewelry maker from LA and the dream board...she freaked me out!

I'm certainly not bashing the people who believe in The Law of Attraction because those who really believe in it don't think that you can just make up a dreamboard and automatically have it come true because you wish it!

She had the "perfect wedding" and then it all went wrong!
Then she was upset because she had her and Jason's wedding all planned out! It seems like she is just in love with the wedding aspect and not the relationship.

I think Megan will eliminate herself pretty quickly!
She couldn't believe that the girls didn't like her, but at the beginning gathering before they got into the limos she made a comment about not caring if there is conflict between her and the other girls, did anyone get that?

I definitely think it's the editing...they do that to us time and time and time again.

It just seems a little strange to want to play tounge hockey with someone you KNOW is all up on someone else minutes before.

I know. I could never do it. And I'm kind of surprised that Jason is getting into it. The one season that had very little tongue sucking was with Travis Stork (now of "The Doctors"), but everyone commented on what a boring season it was.

Kudos to those of you who can keep up with all their names. I can't remember any of them. I just say "the stalker" or "the wedding planner" or "the dallas cowboy cheerleader"! At least until it gets narrowed down some!

I'm sure coming back was initiated by the producers, but I'm sure she jumped at getting another 15 minutes of fame. I just don't get her. I thought she was a ***** first season, second season, and I'm guessing I'm not going to like her much this season either.

My fave so far is Lauren, the teacher from NJ, even if she did pull that "guess how old I am" routine. She's cute and seems sweet. So far!

Add me to the list of people who would have liked to see the single mom with the short brunette hair get a rose. I was surprised by some of Jason's choices.

As much as I don't want to reward Deanna with more tv time, I do think it would be hysterical to have her live in the house with the girls for awhile.

I was looking for this thread. My DD's tape The Bachelor & watch it on Wednesday nights, so I have to stay away from this thread for 2 days after the original airing of episodes, but I'll catch up on Thursday mornings!!!

Also disappointed that he didn't choose the short haired brunette. Oh well, no connection I guess.
