The Official Bachelor Thread ~ Deanna comes back!

I'm a bit new to watching this season. I think the right one went home. Without saying too much, is next weeks even one from the shows past? I have a guess as to where so comes from.

Well since I'm way off anyway after doing some googling, I'll tell you who I thought she was just so you all can have a laugh. I thought it was his ex-wife. :lmao: Guess I should watch the show more before posting. :rotfl:

I'm not 100% addicted to this one season. The three women all look too similar to me and I don't know which is whom.

Deanna is coming next week.

Does anyone NOT beautiful, NOT from a very nice house, NOT from a somewhat normal family ever make it on to these shows? Only beaufiful people from beautiful houses & families qualify to fall in love? :confused3

Hopefully the *spoiler's* are wrong and he doesn't end up with ...
PLEASE do not tell people what the spoilers have said!!! I don't care since I read them but other people have not and they want to be surprised. Please edit your post :flower3:.

I don't think so. They made it clear to say "And later this season" or something like that before they showed her. I think she'll show up in the finale, not next week.

Out of the three left, I hope he picks Jillian. Molly I'm indifferent too, and Melissa, while I'm sure she's nice, grates on my nerves.

I wondered after looking at some of the backgrounds. It seemed like the final scenes of the show were filmed at his house, but everything was way more perfect than you would ever expect a divorced man's house to be....I mean really, what's with the Christmas lights in the shrub on the back porch?

I am disappointed in the fact that they draw an hour show out to two hours. They replay half the show on the next-scene preview. That drives me nuts.

I had not been watching this season and wondered what happened to the girl who was in the recap from last week. Was she ill or something?

I watched the Deanna saga last year and at first thought she was way too sweet a girl to get dumped. But now I think she's a drama mama.

Last week Jason said in an interview (either that or his weekly blog, can't remember) that that's not actually his house. Sounded like the producers rented it for the show. I remember reading his real house is actually either 20 minutes or 20 miles from the "fake home" boat house.

Never take anything at face value on this show, that's what I keep learning. :rotfl:

I really hope he ends up with Melissa. She seems really sweet!

Good cause I was really worried about having a young child who could step out onto the patio and RIGHT into the water!! I immediately noticed there was no rail around the patio that leads right into the water tonight.

I also figured if it was his house the producers "fixed" it up with the pumpking and the greenery and lights.

I have always suspected that the producers "spruce up" the homes a bit for taping. I've also thought that many of the girls do not use their own homes, but the nicest home of someone they know :lmao: .

As for last night's show, I thought it was pretty boring. The girls and Jason seem to be getting odder and odder to me as the show progresses. Jillian is the only one who seems "normal" to me. Everyone else seems to be milking their 15 of fame. I can't imagine someone proposing after this show. Of course, I will still watch for entertainment purposes, but each season the concept seems more and more absurd to me. Yes, Trista and Ryan seemed to have made it, but those two seemed so spaced out in their own worlds, they were most definitely made for each other.

If you remember the season with Brad Womack, Jenny's family home was too small for the hometown date. They did it at her mom's hair salon.

I thought the same thing. So glad that is not his real house:thumbsup2

Yes, please! Your spoiler was not in white but stayed in purple like the rest of your post.

Hmmm, so Deanna does tell him that she made a mistake.

Well...I think Deanna must come back next week because he greets her by saying 'What brings you to New Zealand?' That's the location of the over night dates.

I can't blame them for not having the show at Jason's actual house. If you were him would you want people to get a good look at what your house looks like?

I was VERY happy to see Naomi go. Her family was quite bizarre. I'm not a fan of Molly. I think her family seemed nice but they have a certain snootiness about them. I don't think Jason is capable of being snooty.

I like Jillian and her family. I also like Melissa but think her parents are a little weird. Honestly though, while I find it strange that her friends have never met her parents...it leads me to think it's not all that weird for Jason to not meet them. I think her parents are just VERY different. If that's the case then I don't think he needs to ask for her parent's approval if he's going to propose. It would seem they wouldn't have much say in the matter in light of their LACK of involvement.

I am not a fan of Stephanie. I'm sure she is a wonderful person, but her face has no movement, like a mask. Her outfits looked quite expensive and she wore them well, but my thoughts are "high maintenance". And I didn't see any connection with Jason. My favorite is Melissa, so that means she probably won't win.

I agree about Stephanie. My husband is like do you think she is pretty? not really, there is just something at her couldnt quite put my finger on it. My fav is Melissa too. I hope he picks her.

That is weird about her parents. My family knew all my good friends.

Here are my thoughts on the women:

Naomi: I'm glad to see her go. No matter what she says she is NOT ready for a real relationship. Her father is very religious (to the point he pummels Jason with his bible thumping) and tells Jason that Naomi is the same but Naomi doesn't even *think* to talk to Jason about religion? What the heck?!? Honey, "love" does not overcome major religious differences. If you feel that strongly about your religion then you need to find someone who either feels the same or who will be fine with your faith. You can't just "spring" something like that on Jason three quarters into the dating process! FTR, I am an atheist and my DH is Jewish and we get along fine :). As for Naomi's mother ... she's a kook! I guess that opposites really do attract because I could not see Naomi's parents together at all!

Molly: I still don't really like her that much. I can't put my finger on it, though. It *might* be that she seems to be "entitled" and a little too "upper crust". A date to the country club? Weekly family golf? I actually really liked her family. Her mom cracked me up and I liked how her dad played along with it. In fact, I liked her family a lot more than I like her. You can see where she gets her confidence when her dad said something like "I know why you're still in the running. You're a winner!" and "If you don't get a rose ... no crying in the Limo!". It seems that her family has very high expectations for her (and her last bf probably didn't measure up).

Jillian: I like her more and more. I really liked her family, but grandma was a little "off". Marry her off to a Ukrainian? What the heck?!? I cracked up when Jason put on the maple leaf boxers and her father sang the national anthem. I think that Jillian is really starting to open up and putting her heart out there. Unfortunately, I don't think that Jason is all that into her.

Melissa: My money is on her. Jason seems genuinely smitten with her and he seems totally comfortable with her. He also seemed so relaxed when he met her friends. I actually thought it was a GOOD THING that Melissa's friends never met her parents and that they never went to see her "cheer" at the Dallas Cowboys games. That makes her parents wacky (or just very private) but it wasn't a snub to Jason. I wonder if they simply don't "approve" of her somewhat wild lifestyle (multiple TV shows, etc) because you don't get to be a Professional Cheerleader without a lot of cheer/dance experience as a child.
