Well that's great you make a healthy orange chicken... restaurants probably buy it frozen and the more batter the cheaper and hardy visual.
Our Asian go to doesn't off egg drop but 2 won ton in a broth with the crunchy strips noodles...un fortunately there best dish...egg rolls are good but probably frozen also

As for egg drop..so many views on what is exactly...I love the one in Oregon...was loaded and not broth
