We have a trip Aug 5th to Aug 12, but are late joining the party as we decided to go a month ago. My daughter was working at Disney for the summer. We are going to visit her her last couple of day and stay a few days after she is done. We are doing a split stay at WL and POR. We managed to snag a BOG reservation and no trip to Disney would be complete without a meal at Via Napoli. We are attending VAH so we have a chance to ride some headliners. Debating about the AK event as well as one kid's idea of fun is riding EE over and over again and that would be a good opportunity. I have to admit I have an addiction to trying to get the upgraded Magic Bands but will probably give up shortly as it seems futile! Thanks to everyone that is posting so I know I am not the only one having difficulties. Guess I should get back to planning!

I love doing laundry on vacation. I am the Laundry Fairy to my friends and family when they travel with us. Almost every night, I run a load or two.

Not arrving until the 23rd or I would - we have a washer/dryer inthe room and all the supplies. There's just something satisfying about getting laundry done - especially towels (with bleach, yay!). I hate almost all other housework lest you think I am a lunatic of some kind.

I made 4 minnies and 5 mickeys so I sctually made a couple extras. I plan to date them do hopefully they will take the while thing, pocket and all. But I may just take my gel pen with me and not date them until day of so I can see if they actually take the pockets if they are dated. Then if they don't I wont date them from there on out.

By the day because it’s not necessarily the same people working each day. Not sure if that’s the norm.

I generally tip at the end as well. That's when there's a bit more work to do anyway because there's usually a few groceries we didn't consume left and since we fly there's nothing I can do but leave them. I may change up this time not sure.

We put it out each morning because the same housekeeper may not be cleaning our room each day. If we just left it at the end and a different person cleans each day then only the one who cleans the final day will gte the tip. Now if we opted out of housekeeping then we would just leave it at the end. But I told hubby I really don't want to opt out because being on vacation means I don't have to make the bed. The room won't be messy since it's just hubby and I but I will leave something each day anyway because I appreciate the clean room when we get back to the room.

We arrive on August 13th and I'm getting really nervous about the heat with my kids - mainly all the complaining that will ensue! I had planned to rope rope drop our first two days and not stay too late during the whole trip so the kids get a good night's sleep, but now I'm debating doing mid-day breaks and staying late in the parks so we can enjoy a tiny bit of a heat break in the evenings.

We DO have park hopper passes so I'm now debating on going to parks that have late EMH... is that a bad idea? will they be too crowded?

How old are your kids? Mine are a bit older and I'm still working in mid day breaks.

I typically leave one on a Friday and another Saturday/Sunday depending on my checkout date. I assume the weekday vs weekend staff is not the same. Never thought about daily basis. Hmmmm!

Laundry party at All Star Sports

We are staying 7 nights, our longest trip ever. I definitely will be doing laundry. .

We generally have that many changes of clothes with us, but the wife would probably do laundry anyway, just so that we weren't taking dirty clothes home with us.
