Congratulations! If it was just you and your FI going, I would book either a nice dinner that you can see the fireworks from like Cali grill OR I'd do a good brunch at Cali Grill or Narcosses. I've never been to either but the reviews always look amazing.

Same boat here. Hoping to have lists before we travel. Rockstar mom over here ended up booking our trip such that the girls miss kindergarten round up, too. Oops!

Not sure what a round up is... by my daughter is missing her meet up for kindergarten it’s just a big play date. She already did orientation so whatever....

School doesn't start yil after Labor Day so I don't even have supply lists yet.

Same here, and by the time we get our supply lists (our school is really slow with this, not sure why, it's basically the same stuff every year) the stores are pretty well cleaned out.

This is their first chance to meet the teachers, see the classroom, see the buses, or otherwise interact with things before classes start the next week. It's a bummer but they'll be fine.

22 Days! I have packed some outfits bought for the trip for my husband. Still need me and my daughter. Need to get some stuff from dollar tree. snacks and things are last.

36 days! I'm still trying to decide if the daily countdown is making things go faster or slower . Finished my packing list yesterday and even color-coordinated it with what goes in the suitcase vs. the carry-on.

When did everyone get their DME tags? I think those typically get sent out a little earlier than the magicbands so that's what I'm looking forward to in the mail!

We had picked our regular colors a while back, but I guess with the update to include the specialized bands, we needed to repick our colors. Went on today to do that and it says "Customize by Aug 7 to pick up at check in." Does this mean we're too late to get them shipped to us?

I actually received two ME envelopes within a week of each other. The first one on June 29th and the second July 5th. The first one had just a half sheet of paper and the tags. The second had a full sheet of paper with my flight numbers and a map to ME. The names and resort were correct on both sets of the yellow tags. I was told on the ME post I could use either set or both sets if we have any extra luggage since we are flying SW and can have two bags each. We won't but it's nice to know we could. we are at 25 days out today so we received our tags at 35 and 29 days out. We have had our Magicbands a while, but we upgraded so they sent those out immediately.

Whoops, I also meant to comment on the packing list. I started my more detailed packing list on Sunday. I need to color code mine for carry on vs. checked as well. Basically all I'm carrying on is my backpack with an extra outfit complete with under garments (just in case) and my hairbrush, toothbrush/toothpaste and medicine. Oh, and my word puzzle book and maybe a deck of cards. And then my purse with wallet and phone charger and phone. and magicband. Our flight is a little under 2 hours so I don't really have to have much entertainment. I'll probably throw my travel notebook too so I can write a few notes. I figure hubby will be sleeping for at least an hour of the flight since we have to get up so early.

Tom, question for you since you are in charge of the Memory Maker/Photo Pass post. Once I purchase Memory Maker through MDE, is it automatically linked or do I have to do something more to actually link it? last time I went cards were used so I want to make sure I don't need to do anything else.

I think sometimes they get sent to the agency then they mail them to you!
