Magic Band arrived yesterday! Only 23 days to go. I can't believe it's getting so close. Here's a rough outline of my schedule:

Day 1, 8/16 - Travel and Magic Kingdom
Day 2, 8/17 - Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs
Day 3, 8/18 - Epcot
Day 4, 8/19 - Hollywood Studios
Day 5, 8/20 - No Park, Disney Springs
Day 6, 8/21 - Universal Studios
Day 7, 8/22 - Animal Kingdom
Day 8, 8/23 - All Four Parks
Day 9, 8/24 - Magic Kingdom
Day 10, 8/25 - Magic Kingdom and Travel

We have some overlap with your trip for dates, but only one park overlap. Our plans are:
8/15 - check in at Grand Floridian then headed to MK - it's open to 1a!!
8/16 - MK AM/Epcot PM
8/17 - Pool Day/MNSSHP
8/18 - AK/Adult Night (my hubby and my twin nephews are leaving the pack to have some fun, no plans yet)
8/19 - HS/MK
8/20 - Pool Day/Disney Springs
8/21 - MK/Epcot
8/22 - Check out

Magic bands arrived yesterday - yay!! My older DD slept over at my parents' last night, so I ran around her room grabbing all her Disney gear so I can pack it without her knowing. Surprises are tough! lol

I could probably start packing shirts, we tend to have plenty of those. But the rest has to wait til I'm closer or I'll be doing laundry every day, LOL.

I do have a pop up hamper with ponchos, laundry sheets, toiletries etc.


What I really SHOULD do is do some back to school shopping because we only get back a few days before school starts.

Mine too but my AP ends September though but I don't think I'm going to renew. I have a 3 day park hopper I will probably use for my birthday in April and bring my BF on his 1st Disney Trip. Then in the summer off to Europe.

I have already started school shopping because we are in the same boat. We will be back Saturday and school starts on Monday.

Just 8 days away for us! We've also decided to upgrade to annual passes and go in November as well! We figure this is the best time to get an annual pass because, while we won't get Star Wars, it will be considerably cheaper than the cost of them next year once Star Wars gets added into the ticket cost.

I can't imagine what tickets will look like for next year. Crazy stuff.

8/11- Flight lands at 2:00 pm. Picking up rental, quick market run for supplies, check in @ SOG, unpack, pool time.
8/12- Meeting friends for breakfast in Celebration, explore shops, pool time, DS/ Raglan Rd.

8/14- DHS/EPCOT
8/16- EPCOT/AK
8/17- Pool time, MNSSHP (our first time)
8/18- Boma breakfast, DS
8/19- AK/MK Photopass day!!!!
8/20- MK/DHS
8/21- Resort hop day;Poly,GF,CTR, WL/FW Trails End for dinner. Pack up.
8/22- Crack of dawn flight home.

We just registered for the Aug 5th new V.I.Passholder event! So excited it just happens to fall on our stay. This is our first AP and we won't be renewing when it expires in Nov. Glad we got in on this perk!

We’re traveling with my brother’s family and with a bunch of little kids in our group, we’ll be hitting the parks morning and evening and spending a lot of midday time in the pool and/or napping. I can hardly wait!
