so if you could only see one show in the World, which would it be and why?

I think I agree with Fantasmic! - it's my favorite. Though if we could get Spectromagic back again (y'know, if we had a time machine) I think that'd win out

Woo hoo, my Magic Band came today! I went Green this year. Figured I'd get all the colors eventually. It is the new, "thinner" material, but the "structured" part is wider than before - too wide for my wrist, and I'm not crazy about the fit, but it'll be fine.

And to answer what I think is the most recent Question of the Day: Finding Nemo the Musical. I love the Nemo show! Story, songs, puppetry, acting. It's an annual must-do for me. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...."

Oh, and PS, I'm in the same (nearly) situation as Patster - still waiting for my yellow DME tag, and I've got about 3 1/2 weeks to go. I've already decided that, if I don't have it by Sunday, I may call WDW and see what's up. I'm so spoiled, I want that yellow tag!

Congrats! How long after customization day did it take to get the Magic bands?

I cannot wait to see the projection show on Cinderella Castle. I work in the arts in stage production, and I have taken a few basic projection courses. I want to see it multiple times because I have to figure out how they do it. Where do they house the projectors? How strong are the lamps on the projectors? How long did it take to map the castle? I need them to give me a private backstage tour that is specific to that show!

I'm at the 3 week point tomorrow. So I'll probably be calling very soon. Past trips, the yellow tags always arrived before the magic bands.

Question on breakfast ADR's- So if the monorail and ferries run 45 min prior to opening and you have morning ADR's do they run earlier for these ADR's? 820 at BOG park opens at 9am so 45 min prior is 815am so 5 min to get from TTC to BOG? I'm confused.

I've never done a pre-park opening ADR, so I don't know the answer. But I did a search and saw some posts saying that the resort monorail typically runs earlier than the express monorail.

I want to keep the ball rolling--here's my first try at a question of the day!

I've already told you folks that I love shows! so if you could only see one show in the World, which would it be and why?

I would pick Fantasmic!, no question. it's perfectly Disney, in my mind. the music makes my heart smile--great music, great story, tons of characters--it simply wouldn't be a Disney trip without the show.

So, I have to say Wishes. The music, the fireworks, Tinkerbell!!! I can't watch that show without crying, it just makes me so happy!!!

There are no rooms available for the 16th right now, LOL. We don't get in until 7:30 pm, so for now we booked a room at the airport hotel. Will take the Magical Express over first thing in the morning. From then on we will be at POFQ for the week! Super excited. I've never stayed at POFQ, but I have great memories of several trips to the FQ in New Orleans as a kid with my family.

We had a fantastic experience at POFQ a few years ago!!! Enjoy!!

So this is day 2 of me staying home from work due to what I hope is a cold and not the flu (I am feeling much better than yesterday at least!)...I was getting antsy since I can't really do much I decided to figure out what clothes I want to bring with me, since I'm at my 30 day mark. Lol!

One of our two sets of Magic Bands were sent today/last night! I meant to cancel my second pair after the announcement of the purple MBs I'm pretty glad I didn't since it meant I could still get a second pink one with my package (when i went last year they weren't sending the luggage tags with them and I've wanted the Daisy tag since I first saw it) AND could get a purple MB with our 1 room only reservation.

This will be our first trip using our car, and every trip has used Disney motor-coaches before, but I remember seeing a monorail running whenever we have done a 1 hr prior ADR before. possibly resort, but should work none the less.

MB showed up Wednesday! And...no luggage tag or DME documents. Not sure what I did wrong there. I'll arrive 4/9 early morning. What do I do with my luggage?? Do I create my own tag that looks like the one that was supposed to come with the orange MB?

This is what we usually do to maximize our Disney dollars, even though we normally drive! We will get down there on 4/2 in the afternoon, and have Hilton honors points to stay at the Buena Vista palace @ Disney Springs for one night. That way we don't have to go there during our on-site stay, and we can still get our full Disney time in!

We have not stayed at POFQ, but have at POR and loved it! Have fun!

DME documents and luggage tags are sent seperately from magic bands from different departments at Disney. Have you called DME to request the luggage tags? I'm still waiting for my DME luggage tags and we leave April 6th. I'm going to call again and inquire of their status.

If you don't receive them, you have 2 choices: 1. Retrieve your luggage yourself and bring them to the MDE bus; or 2. Go directly to the MDE service desk and supply them with the bag receipt that the airline gave you when you checked your bags.

If you do option 1, the luggage will be stored in the bus' undercarriage, and you will get them from the bus driver when exiting the bus.
