If it's inside the gift shop then that does have certain hours of operation. Is it 24/7 service?

The bar down at the pool also has (or had, it's been years since I used that pool area) a mug refill station on the outside of it for soda and water only, although when the bar is closed, so is the refill station. The only place I ever found was in the little gift shop in the lobby. It's across from the freezer section. I liked it because it was on the way to/from the bus stop, and if you mobile ordered at Sanaa, it was pretty much on your way back to the room (or you could stop in beforehand).
The last time that I was there the gift shop was open until 10 or 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. I cannot remember how early they opened in the morning. If it's inside the gift shop then that does have certain hours of operation.
The lobby is huge, and I’m sure there is plenty of room at the pool and maybe some savanna viewing areas, but I guess it depends what your doing at the gathering. Are there some good spots at Jambo where a large group (around 30 people) can get together?
Unless all 30 are staying at AKL/V the pool won’t work since it’s limited to guests of Jambo/Kidani. The Jambo lobby is spacious, but the seating/conversation areas are arranged to accommodate smaller groups, not a big group of 30 people. The Mara does have seating for around 100 people & it’s not usually crowded, so that’s likely your best bet.The lobby is huge, and I’m sure there is plenty of room at the pool and maybe some savanna viewing areas, but I guess it depends what your doing at the gathering.
Tree of Life, with the reception at the Grand Floridian. Is the wedding being held in WDW?
That would be wonderful! How about a vow renewal? My dream would be to get married in front of the Tree of Life. Hope it's as wonderful as it sounds. Meanwhile DH is just lucky (in the wallet) that he met me 44 years ago, long before my Disney obsession.
The drawback is the 5:30AM wedding time, with bus pickup times starting at 4:00AMThat would be wonderful! How about a vow renewal?![]()

When we were there over the summer, there was a patio area just off of the main lobby area that was blocked off for a private event. You might be able to reserve it for your gathering? There is also a small area behind the DVC desk where we sat and waited on check-out day until it was time for us to board the Mears bus. We did notice that there are doors on either side where cast members entered and exited while we were there- seemed like a break room entry?Basically a wedding party get together on the day that a lot of them will be arriving. While we will be at Kidani, the thought was Jambo probably has more space and they have the Mara as a great quick service place for people to eat.

We got the parking lot view in a value 1 bedroom before too. You’re right. You win some you lose some but what you don’t lose is an excess of points. Enjoy your stay!Lucky enough to have gotten a value room but alas was given the dreaded parking lot view. You win some you lose some lol
Yup this trip wouldn’t have happened without exactly the amount of points I had for a value! Thanks! Watching the Mets advance at Victoria Falls bar is worth the no view in and of itself lol.We got the parking lot view in a value 1 bedroom before too. You’re right.
