FQ is pretty small, much smaller than WL ... but think of the benefits of WL! You get that great pool, the proximity to MK, AND you're checking a resort off your bucket list, yes?

A split stay will also offer us a chance to go for the full week as opposed to only maybe a 5 day trip. 
I'm definitely leaning towards it...and yes, a deluxe resort is certainly on the bucket list.

Again, if it were me and I were in your situation ... your husband has already given the okay for camping ... I would go ahead and book it without hesitation and not worry about it. But that's me. Once my husband gives the okay for something, I do it before he can change his mind.

Not sure of the exact dates .. most likely Columbus Day weekend.
We're staying at a Disney Good Neighbor hotel across the street from the parks. They're so close .. it's like staying IN the park. The last time we had the monorail going right by our hotel. It was the coolest thing ever ! Probably one of the things we loved most was how close the hotels are to the parks.

Being so close to MK is a HUGE plus. We may even be able to stay later in the evening so the girls can watch the parades....yup, definitely think we can make it work.
Okay, I'm easily swayed and have succumbed to the peer pressure...I'm changing my resort (and my dates...not sure if I had posted we are going a week earlier...)

With more than a year to go I'm sure I will change my mind again, but at this very moment, this is what I'm feeling.
I'm also kind of debating leaving DD2...She is a tough cookie and unless she changes her ways, I'm not sure DD5 and I will be able to fully enjoy the trip. However, the mama guilt I am feeling about it already is ATROCIOUS. I'm REALLY hoping her spirited nature will even itself out by next year.
So glad you decided on WL (with a little nudge from me and the others )! I don't think you'll regret this decision. I'll get your dates/resorts changed.
We moved our arrival date up to the 27th for much better airfare so 4 of those days apply to me. We're getting closer!

Arrive in to MCO at 5:10pm on Friday, Jan 17th. We will just hang out around the resort that night and get settled in.
Leave on Jan 25th at 5:55pm
Going to be booking our hotel on Wed when the new rates are released. Planning to stay at CBR and get a preferred room at Martinique!

Somewhere on the Resorts Board, if you search for "Christmas decorations tour" or something like that, it will give you a good order to do the resorts in with the monorail, etc.
Did your husband make a decision on where to stay?
I've been anxiously awaiting that one, DD is a complete Sofia addict, this is going to make her entire trip. I'm still hoping they put her in the H&V breakfast between now and January but as long as there is somewhere we can meet her it's all good. I've been making the kids clothes here and there and hiding them in the suitcase in my closet to surprise them with when we tell them we're going. Tonight's project was a shirt for her to wear to DHS.
