you can brag about each of your kids. pick something like a life accomplishment (example: learned to tie his shoes), an academic achievement (got an A on a test), something your child was recognized for (an award at her gymnastics meet) or anything else you want to share.

the only rule is, you can brag on as many kids as you want, but you're allowed ONE SENTENCE for each child. can you possibly restrict yourself like that?

I'll go first: My 7th grader made honor roll. My 5th grader will be a first violin in the school orchestra as of Friday.

your turn!

DS11 was in the finals and got an award for the Geography Bee which is not even one of his better subjects! :)

DS14 got chosen to be in the computer program at his school...(only the top 10 students out of 325 get chosen). :)

(I wasn't going to post about these things....but hey...since someone asked.... ;) )

P.S. Congrats to your kids!! :)

My daughter Holly is going to her very first gymnastics meet this weekend (more bragging to come).

My son Adam is doing extremely well in school this year, with almost no prodding by me.

My son Alex is also doing very well in school this year, with a little prodding from me. :)

Hunter made an A+ on her science notebook & also taught me a little math trick for doing conversions.:teeth:

Lets see. 2nd dd is a wonderful mother and very smart. 1st dd is very smart and very compassionate. Oldest dgrdd has just finished grade 5 at the age of 8 and is a very giving person especially when we do Meals on Wheels. My 2nd dgrdd is very inventive, creative and very good with money (she is only 3). My ds is very loving when he wants to be.
I hope that is it. It was really hard to keep things to only one sentence per kid. I didn't get to my dsil's but I think both are really nice people.

My DD Abby is SOOOOO cute:

DD just turned five and she is preparing to start school and has perfected her reading, writing, and arithmetic.

DS (8 months) may not be crawling yet, but that's not preventing him from learning how to walk because he can hold on to the edge of things and just take off and walk as long as he's holding on.

(So my sentences are run-ons but it's still technically just one sentence per kid :) )

My daughter, (Velvetgloves on the boards) will finish college in two years and then will be getting married at WDW.
My oldest son graduates high school this year and will start college in the fall.
My youngest son, who is in the 4th grade, had his math homework done when he got home and finished his language homework in record time tonight. =0)

my 12 yo DS is a gets 90s in honors in his middle school, also was chosen to play trumpet in the all- county school band.

8 yo Ds is getting good marks in third grade

MY "BABY" just turned 21 on Monday---and is going for his MASTERS DEGREE, in chemisty this year--OH YES AND HE IS THE BEST SON A MOTHER COULD ASK FOR.. (gee I hope thats ONE sentence HEEHEE)

My DD was the Outstanding 7th Grade Science & Math Student for girls at her school and was awarded this by The *** *** Business Womens Assn., who promote excellence in math and sciences for woman!

My DS came in 4th in the 6th & 7th Grade Combination Geography Bee and was in first place out of all the 6th graders.

:bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Never know they were from a "broken home"

Oh and BTW, there are excellent children all over the place!

My praise to you all!

DD #1 (11) will be competing in a National Cheerleading Competition in Dallas, TX on Feb. 14-17, a goal of hers for the past 2 years!!

DD #2 will soon turn 7 and is so trying so hard to read and do basic math..............very motivated!!

DD #3 is working hard on her ballet routine for her recital...........watch out Ginger Rogers!!

Oldest DS(22)......earned a Full Ride Scholarship for basketball to Hillsdale College. That's why we could afford a couple of trips to WDW!!!;)

Middle DS(15)......earned a spot at the Math/Science Center in a neighboring town. He had to take a tough exam plus interview for this honor. It's tough tho as he struggles thru his 2nd year with courses in Physics and Chemistry. He also made the Varsity basketball team as a Sophmore.:)

Youngest DS(13)........we celebrate his many B's and a few A's as he is LD and has always had to work twice as hard as his brothers. He worked so hard one year in his schoolwork that he earned the President's Education Achievement Award.:D

DS2 has been potty trained for 4 days now - something I didn't he'd ever be ready to do! (BTW, Mom was motivated by a thread here on the CB board)

DS8 has worked really hard to get up and start going in the mornings on school days, even though he wasn't ready for winter break to be over.

Jessica is doing wonderfully in Kindergarten this year.
Bobby (3) is constantly called "the sweetest child" by everyone who knows him (daycare teachers, etc.)
