Going to Disney 10/25-10/31 and praying for free dining. Staying in a Riverside Royal Room. Getting very very excited. Do they send the pin number to your email that you have registered with My Disney Experience? And since I have my whole package already booked....can I add the discount to it after? So sorry if this is repetitive.

if there are rooms available in that type for the FD Pin. We already had 2 standard rooms booked at POFQ for October 2013 when my sister got the FD PIN in May. There was no availability for standard rooms even on the 1st day the PIN came out; we had to upgrade ($80 more/room) in order to use the PIN. Still saved a ton of money with FD!

last year the PINS for Fall FD started going out in waves beginning around May 9th. several e-mail and snail mail batchs went out into July. GP FD offer went live on 8/1/13.

We booked FD with the GP code in July last year. Was it maybe 7/1/13 start date ?

hmmm, I am going by the main FD thread here from last summer:

Free dining will be extended beyond September.

Bookings for these dates will begin August 1.

The dates are below:

September 29 - October 2
October 18 - November 2
November 11 - 23
December 12 - 22

Going Fall break, October 5th - 11th. Don't expect FD but hope for a room discount. We like staying at POFQ but will change for a discount. Disney and airline tickets have gotten so expensive. Trying to save where we can.

We are going to try and squeeze in 2 trips surrounding our cruise. So 2 nights prior to our cruise and 3 nights following our return to port. The first reservation won't be long enough to take advantage of the FDing minimum nights they always impose.....the last reservation may but not if it requires 4 nights. I hope we can make it happen......the cruise is already kind of breaking the bank LOL.

For those of you getting PINS who is the sender and what is the title of the message. I want to go back and search my email but with 1000s of saved emails it could take awhile! TIA!

In the past, when I got PINs emailed to me the recipient showed in my inbox as "Disney Destinations" and yes it did come directly from Disney [Travel] and the subject line said something like "check out this magical rate" or "visit again and save at Walt Disney World". But it definitely came from "Disney Destinations". I also get other advertising and marketing stuff from Disney Destinations, so whenever I see one in my Inbox, my heart skips a beat Haven't gotten a PIN yet this year, but there is still time

we are officially booked...we go Oct 22 to 31st. :O) Fingers are crossed for free dining, especially with two kids who are considered Disney adults! (yea, need to update my ticker. DD is now 10....eats almost nothing. sigh. oh well c'est la vie!)

I know theres a handful of other Oct '14 people in here so I thought I'd share. I called today on a whim to see if I had a pin, and while I didn't have a pin she did say to call back in march about fall pins. Granted, she could have been misinformed about good times to call but thought I would pass it on

Also had her say 'Wow you're on a lot of Mickeys mailing lists!' I wonder if that will help things? Either way gave me a good laugh

Well, whether or not she knows what she is talking about, thank you for letting us know! I am hoping for something prior to the 180 day mark so that my plans can will be more firm. It is always good to keep an ear out for a deal .

Is Columbus Day week usually blacked out for FD? I've never gone in fall before, but planning this year for either 9/25-10/1 or 10/12-10/18. I'd love to get FD so if the Sept dates are a better bet I'll choose those.

I believe it was blacked out in past. It's the same time as our thanksgiving and that I'm sure was blacked out

Yes I believe it is. We went the Wednesday thru Sunday before Columbus Day this past October and it wasn't available our week or the next one.

Yes, you can call, but that doesn't mean you will get one . However, I have heard from others that calling often ( ) can increase your chance of getting one. So heres to hoping, planning, and trying.
