The number of days that a party or event has actually occurred at Disney here lately

I was wondering if anyone knew the exact number of days that Disney had a party night in 2024 or during this year? How many times were they able to close the park early and get to charge twice for entry during that day? Not so much After Hours, but closing early off in the day. What made me think of such was where I seen DL doing the Valentines evening events.

Has Disney World done the V-day parties ever?

Between Aug 15th and Dec 21st there are 128 Day.

65 days the park does not close early for a party.

63 days the park closes early for a party.

The first week of November is great to avoid the wacky* crowd patterns the parties cause.

*everybody crowding into Wed night, Sat night and whatever other night(s) that week because it’s the only opportunity for MK evening hours, fireworks, night parade, etc

Ya, I bet those certain nights that you can get into the MK without a party ticket, are extremely crowded, making it less enjoyable. 😮‍💨

Wow. That's wild.

Personally, when we visit during party seasons, we find a PH a great option when there for more than 3-4 days. It allows us to visit the MK on a party day and take advantage of the lower waits during the day and then hop to another park for the evening.

It also allows us the option to go to a different park other than the MK on a non-party day and then just hop to MK for the evening entertainment.

They would absolutely love to have twice as many days with "double entry". One way in which to do such would be to start the After Hours parties much earlier in the evening, say around 7-8 pm.

Pretty eye-opening seeing the numbers laid out like that — it really puts into perspective just how party-heavy the back half of the year has become. Disney definitely seems to have found a formula that works for them, even if it makes planning regular MK evenings feel like threading a needle. And honestly, I agree… if they ever decided to push After Hours earlier into the evening, they’d probably jump at the chance for even more “double entry” days. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we see the calendar get even more crowded with upcharge events over the next few years.

Well i know if it has went through my mind, it has thiers as well.🫤

I loved the Pirate & Princess Party they had about that same time frame.
That was the best party ever at WDW and had by far the best fireworks display I've seen probably anywhere. I still have my wristbands (yes, I went more than once!). One of my little stuffed animals is wearing them as a necklace.
