There is no way that I'm going to see it! I sobbed through the book and don't want to be down like that again! Maybe I'll catch it on DVD.

I enjoyed it and so did my dbf which really surprised me! Many, many people were crying at the end - the woman behind me was actually sobbing. The basic premise is the same as the book, but many scenes were added. Some of the additions I didn't particularly care for but I thought other scenes added additional dimension. If you are true romantic I highly recommend it! It is a very, very sentimental love story. I am sure many who see it will find the story, especially the end, very sappy. But I loved it!

I want to see this movie so bad, ever since I saw the trailer for it a little while ago. I'm a big fan of hopelessly romantic movies like this, as well as Rachel McAdams and James Marsden.

(PS - I think Nicholas Sparks is the author of the book...)
