Hi everyone,

I'm toying with the idea of going down at the end of October in 2008 and was hoping for some feedback on the Not So Scary Halloween Party.

What's it all about?

What was wonderful? What was not?

Any comments would be very much appreciated. popcorn::

They kick all the non MNSSHPers out of the park around 6:00pm. The park gets decorated in a halloween theme and colors. Everyone is issued a trick or treat bag (including adults) for goodies. The rides stay open like a EMH night but I think they all stay open. Some people dress up while most do not. They just turn the place into a halloween party. It is a good time and worth the cost for most peoples taste. Take care

The Halloween Party is just that, Not So Scary. It's a fun event, theming is great. The grounds are decorated with corn stalks, hay bales and pumpkins. The characters are in costume. Parade is completely different from the usual one, and the fireworks are different too. Lights are dimmed and silhouettes are projected on the windows of the Main Street buildings. Spooky music plays throughout the parks. Trick or Treat stations with candy for everyone in line (adults too!). The Headless Horseman starts the parade with a gallop (real horse too!). Each ticket holder receives a free photo in the mail shortly after their party visit, photo booths are set up all over the park so the wait is tolerable. We thoroughly enjoyed it two years ago and have already purchased our tix for this year. HTH!
