I know we talk a lot about the kindness we find in CMs but one thing I had never mentioned on here was how nice everyone was that I met in WDW when I went this last February. I was there with my sister and a friend of mine, it was my first big trip without my parents so we chatted with all sorts of people in line and on the train. And I must say a big hello to the Disney fans of New York, I met countless New Yorkers who were on their break as we were who were so incredibly nice. It was such a feeling of warmth to be surrounded by so many fellow Disney fans who were so thrilled and happy to be there. Must have been a bunch of DISers ;)

Good point!

One of the things that I really like is that if I see a cute toddler or child, I can usually feel free to smile at them or watch them. In the real world, I feel like I cannot look at other people's children, not having any myself. Not that I blame parents for wanting to protect their children, it's just a shame that the world has come to that.

At WDW, though, Disney magic seems to prevail.

You mean there are friendly people from New York??????
LMAO (just kidding)

AHAHA! I know, I had heard much of the same. But I have to say every single one I met was very nice.
wtpclc: I know what you mean, that's very true. I often do the same, though even in the real world I'll often smile at a child. Kids are so accepting.
