The NFL Draft.... excited?

Toady is the draft. I am a HUGE football fan.... the draft? Who cares? ( unless maybe you have a top 5 pick ).

Well, DS10 and I, will be checking on the computer. Our teams are in the top 4 for picks.....

But we won't watch it more than likely, we're a both under the weather, will probably watch some movies.

But we LOVE football!!

Okay I have a draft question kinda-With the Texan's signing Williams early...it is allowed only if you have the first pick right (that has to be correct) but isn't that a bit odd? It doesn't happen often does it? I cannot remember at all...and I wonder how much of these "deals" go on with the top teams? I would love to be a fly on the wall in those meetings..

This far from the first time a deal was struck with the top pick before draft day. Happens in all sports. The deal the team can make factors highly in who they draft.

I suspect Williams not only took a attractive deal, but the Texans also didn't want to touch Bush's reputation right now. I wouldn't be surprised if he slips to the Jets at #4. The Saints and Titans have good backs.

I think they signed him, but still have to "officially" pick him at noon EST.

This is the 2nd time Texans have done this.

I believe agreeing on terms before it starts, gets the player ready for camp??

See I knew it happened..thank you...I have always just watched the actual games..but I have been learning in the past few years that there is as much of a "game" off the field also..puts a whole new spin on everything.
