Oh man.. I just got off the phone with our friend.. It looks like they are going to lose one of the babies. The little girl.. She was the biggest one at birth. She has two brain bleeds, and now they have the respirator maxed out and one of her lungs isnt working. They said that if she doesnt improve in the next twelve hours... There is nothing they can do. She will die.

I dont know what to say. Its so hard to hear a grown man cry on the phone. and now the littlest one has a brain bleed. She is afraid they are going to lose all three.

I missed this until I saw Sarah's reply. That is so hard. I cannot even imagine. Give them a hug for me. (You deserve one, too!)

Ok..I kept myself to $50 from gymbo. $15 is bubbles for the library. Took too long and ended up with a smaller size dress for christmas...hope it'll fit. She has a dress from there now in the smaller size that still fits, so hopefully. Got $25 in gymbucks...could be addictive.

So Should I take Lily to see Santa? I'll get another 20% off coupon for gymbo. lol Dh doesn't want to bother, but I think we should...

I'm taking Lucas. It's their first Christmas! Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I think it's something special and something I definitely want to do!

Luckily, I've never looked at Gymboree.... I could see myself getting hooked!

I got Lucas a "Baby's 1st Christmas" outfit on clearance last year. I think it was like $3.99. Score!

...then I got that Carter's onesie set. The Santa bib, green pants (with Santa on the feet) and the candy-cane stripe onesie that says "Santa's Favorite".
Couldn't resist.

and YAY!! Bill called this morning and she pulled out of it. I cant believe it. Seriously.. Its a freaking miracle. All of the sudden her one lung deflated, and the other one started working. (at least thats how he explained it to me.. Not sure what exactly happened. He isnt the best with details.) But she MADE it through the night! Baby girl must have a guardian angel, because even the dr.s were sure this was it. They arent out of the woods yet, but this little victory gives everyone hope.

They have. Charlie is the girl, Eli and Caleb are the little boys.

Hmmmm... babies arent supposed t have peanut butter, are they? My kids are sharing their PB&Js with the babies...

Oh, I'm so glad that baby girl is still here and fighting. I don't know if it helps, but many parents have had similar experiences where the baby turns it around. Nobody knows how or why some babies pull through and others do not.

This is only the beginning though, they still have a long road before them. With micropreemies, the NICU is like a marathon.

Hmm. i think I remember reading something about peanut butter being bad because of some random bacteria that doesn't harm adults but may be in the peanut butter.

But i also might be crazy!

Staley, I'm crying now! I'm so glad the little one pulled through, and I so hope they continue to improve.

I had to LOL at the peanut butter, even though I know they shouldn't have it. It reminded me of when I found my 2 year-old feeding his 7 month-old sister a frosted Pop Tart. "But Mommy! Hers reawwy wiked it!" ("really liked it!") They are still partners in crime some 5 years later.

Since everyone is sharing I wanted to post a recent picture. I put Lilliana on the floor near our tree and she started to eat the monorail.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We celebrated my DS4 birthday today. He will be 5 on the 24th.
