You are welcome. I thought they were cute.

Dh got home around 10:30. We stayed up talking until 1. Not about anything-just conversation. That was nice. I think we are just both so busy right now-alone time is rare. He also seems to realize he is not talking me out of this trip. He did say he wishes he had talked to the baseball coach before I did!

I'm worried about a situation I may be in though. My best friend moved out of state a few years ago. Her dh is a ******* pure and simple. They have 5 kids (11, 9, 7, 2, 1). I've always thought he was cheating on her (and now she has some proof). A few weeks ago he told her that he didn't love her anymore. She has tried to get him into counseling, but he won't go. She emailed this morning from a new email address, and said he got into her old one and printed out all our emails! There is no telling what is in there, and I don't want to be in the middle of a court case.

Oh what a mess! Hope you can stay out of it. Glad you and DH were able to talk! It's crazy how disconnected I feel from my DH after only 3 months. We snap at each other fro stupid stuff and all the household crap is suddenly an issue when it never really was before. It sucks. We really need some quality date time and some true alone time

Tonight's going to suck. I work til 5 and then we have to go to a party for my bff's birthday (we're all turning 30 this year, so tons of b-day parties). My aunt was going to watch the Lilster, but our friends want us to bring her. I hope no one is sick. So she's going to end up getting 4 bottles today, which sucks since we're already having issues with forceful letdown...she'll only feed off one of the sides unless she super sleepy and it keeps making her spit up. So it's double-y bad. She's ready to go back to sleep after eating, but then spits up and is awake. It's really frustrating.

Sarah, have you tried BFing her with her on top of you? I remember having to lay on my back with Alex on my stomach to eat bc of a really fast letdown... Sounds funny but it worked for me.

That's what I'm going to try for the next couple of days. Plus a whole bunch of other tips form kellymom. I just don't want to do too much and end up with to little.

I know what you all mean about alone time with your DH. Mine has been working out of town a lot lately. He hates it 10x's more that I do. He feels guilty about leaving me home alone with the baby. BUT in 34 days we will be in Disney alone for 6 days!!!!!

Katie has been stuffed up for a few days, and started coughing really bad yesterday. I'm going to take off today and take her to the dr. She is probably fine, but with all the junk going around, I want to be careful!

Jake is almost 7wks and was diagnosed with severe Silent Reflux. He is on Zantac and we were told to start him on rice cereal to thicken the formula-- we didnt do it for a week-- but have sense started because I simply cant bare to see him in pain any longer.

I, too, have been sick with something we can not figure out. In and out of the doctor it has been... going back tonight actually.

Hope you all are well. I am on facebook and really need to find you guys there. Wish I could catch up... seems like things are constantly going around here!!

I've gotten both, but it seems like I can only ever find the boy styles at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. The Target ones (Just one year-Carter's Target brand) seem to be very limited.

We always get comments on them--she wears them with dresses and onesies--even under overall for a little more warmth. I love that she'll be able to use them when she's older too.

I'm glad at least you know that Jake has reflux, I hope the Zantac and the cereal help. I find it so wierd that so many babies have this diagnosed now, when I had never really heard of it in the past.

I hope you feel better too!!

Katie has another ear infection. This is her 2nd one. They want to see her again in 3 wks to make sure it has cleared up. I'm keeping her home again tomorrow, as much for me as for her. Today was awful! I left here at 9am for her 9:50 appt. My town has nothing (very small) and our peds office is 45 min away. I decided to run in the Walmart in that town instead of coming back home to get her prescriptions. BIG MISTAKE! It took 2 hours!!!!! I ended up having to feed her in the Krystal's parking lot, while ds12 (he was sick, too) and I ate lunch at 1pm. I didn't get back home until after 2. And the meds were over $100!!!!! You know it is bad when the cashier double checks to make sure it was run through the insurance.

Luca just got his 3rd tooth on Sunday and this morning it appears to be coming down fast.

I went to feed him before his morning nap and he won't stop biting me...and it's PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those little suckers are sharp!

Everytime he went to latch on, he would chomp down...I would scream...and then he would start crying. This went on and on until I couldn't take it anymore. I made him a bottle, but he wouldn't take it, since he has never had one before.

Anyone have any suggestions?

December-what meds did they give her for the ear infection that would cost so much?! WOW!

Zander has had a double ear infection-he caught a cold last week and had LOTS of mucus so it of course backed up in his ears. He is on Amoxicycillin (sp?) for 10 days.

We just got back Sunday night from going to AL so that Madeline could be a flower girl in my Dnephew's wedding. Now she wants to have a wedding like theirs!! It was easily a $100,000 wedding! There goes my retirement!

Maggie-I am so sorry to hear that Jake has such a serious case of reflux. My friend's baby has a bad case too so I know that there isn't much rest when there's reflux. I need to ask her what they put her little girl on because it apparently is working. She still has issues but not nearly as bad as it was. And I hope you get to feeling better very soon!

Adamandlisa-I can't imagine that, nor do I want to endure it-its one reoccuring nightmare that I have! I didn't go through it with Madeline since I stopped nursing her early on. I am sure someone on here has some helpful advice!

Speaking of nursing, we have started giving Zander cereal at his bedtime bottle. It has helped him some of the time sleep longer but not always. But now that he has tasted the cereal, he prefers a bottle to nursing and he doesn't seem to be satisfied at all with breastmilk.

He has his four month shots and well checkup tomorrow. Last week he was 16 lbs and 10 ozs. We'll see how much he weighs this week! He's quite the chunk.
