The "Newest" Moms Hangout...

I want to help plan too!!!

I definitely agree with Ohana...both breakfast and dinner! Wish I could go there right now! Sooooo hungry for Disney food!

You guys just went didnt you, Lisa?

How old was Luca again?

We went in May and Luca was 3 months old! I can't wait until Nov/Dec when he will be almost 10 months old! I would go tomorrow if I could!:goodvibes

I had to share this!

My brother's girlfriend went back to Sydney at the end of April but she mailed us a baby gift...

These socks are adorable!! I can't get over them. He can't wear them yet but still... Lucas will be the only kid in town with cool Australian sneaker socks. Haha.

Too cute!! I registered for a set for girls that had little ballerina socks and maryjanes...didn't get them and they are $13 for 3 pairs--too expensive!

I love the little box yours came in too!

Yay trip planning! Can't wait to help...the rooms at POR were surprizingly large to me...even with the trundle pulled out.

That is kind of how I looked last night. I had a huge assignment due for my class (ended up being 7 pages when finished), my friend from NC showed up to visit on the way to her mothers with all 5 kids (including a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old) and stayed for 3 hours. After they left, dh took ds11 to his baseball practice which ended up lasting over 3 hrs. Katie wouldn't let me put her down, and wouldn't let dd9 hold her without screaming, and I could do nothing! Finally, dh got home around 9:00, and I finished my assignment around 10:30. Grad school and Katie aren't missing very well!

This made me think of all of you! ;)

Okay.. I think I need to get a new planning note book.. YES. I have a disney planning notebook!:lmao: It was full of my stuff for Disneyland.. Now I need one for WDW!! :cool1:

Ohana huh? I hadnt thought about that one... Is it character?

 That has got to blow. I know a woman who had her 4th halfway through law school... and she said it was rough on her. I couldnt do it. Shoot.. I barely shower everyday!

It's funny, because today she is sleeping like an angel and in a great mood.

Ohana has a character breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, and I think Mickey and Pluto???? It is really good. Dinner isn't character, but they have fun games for the kids. And its family style like Garden Grill, so no getting up with the babies.

A very good reason in itself! The food is awesome too! I would give anything to be there eating right now. Just tried to convince DH to move our trip up to Sept, but it was a no-go. :sad1::lmao:

I had my 4th during grad school. It was very hard, but it just made putting on that cap and gown that much more satisfying. (Can't remember how much I showered between baby care and paper-writing, though. ;))

Neat!! My dh LOVES Stitch. We have done the Lilo and Stitch breakfast everytime we have gone to Disneyland.. So we will HAVE to do it.

Those do sound cute, but I can understand how it's not something you'd wanna spend the $$ on yourself. Thats pretty steep! :scared1:
Yeah, I'll have to hang on to that box for sure. :goodvibes

(Nice picture, too!) I'm not sleep deprived though.. I'm actually bored. Very bored. We're going to Wal*Mart tomorrow and I don't care if I just wander the aisles for hours, I'm sick of sitting on this couch.
Lucas sleeps pretty much all the time. Except for when he's eating or getting his diaper changed.
I'm doubting that I'll be capable of this SAHM stuff but at the same time I know he'll get more interactive and thats the stuff I won't want to miss.

Any tips? Lucas will be almost 5 months.

Staley, glad to hear you're going to Ohana. I LOVE Ohana. We go eat at Ohana every single time I visit my brother in Orlando, no exceptions! It's the only "Disney" my DH has had in his life... :rotfl:

He will be awake more before you know it!! I was like that with my first.. It was just him and I, and I was so bored! I would just stare at him like... Now what? :lmao: at almost 4 months the babies are awake tons more. And doing new stuff by the day. Vinny gave me his first full on laugh the other day.. SO CUTE!!

Im telling ya, I have a list of places I want to eat! Its about 9 deep already, so i think I am going to have to cut back some. :lmao: But we have a while to worry about that. Unless I miraculously win the lottery and we can go now.

Enjoy it while it lasts!!! But seriously, the time goes by SO fast... I can't believe I have to go back to work in less than 2 weeks and that was with taking my full 16 weeks of FMLA leave that CT lets you take! Allison is so much more playful now (not napping to good today though)... I would have rathered gone back to work when she slept a lot and then be able to stay home longer now that she is so interactive!

To try to avoid my schoolwork, I dug these up from our first trip in 2006:

Oh, I do enjoy it... except my insomnia is back. My pregnancy was some of the best sleep I've had in my life. I was hoping insomnia would stay away but no luck. DH has been sleeping in the guest room and I've been watching TV until I fall asleep and then it's time for Lucas to eat. He sleeps when I can't and wakes me up right after I get to sleep! :rotfl:

I took my 12 weeks of maternity (I'm not eligible for FMLA, but I was eligible for the companies full maternity leave :confused3) and fully intended to quit and stay home. Now that I feel like I'm going crazy I don't know that I want to give up my job, but I know I need to decide soon... they really need to be able to hire someone else if I'm not going back but I'm still trying to make up my mind.

Lucas can move himself... not sure how he does it, as I've never seen it... but when I put him to bed and get up to feed him later he's on the other end of the crib. I don't even bother with the sleep positioner anymore.
I just wish he'd do it while I was watching!

Wiggles!! They wiggle all over in their sleep. The twinnies share a crib, and they are all over each other in their sleep. :lmao:

He doesn't do it in the pack-n-play!

He's been asleep in it for the last four hours and he's in the same spot DH plunked him down at. :confused3

I bet that is cute, I'd be video-taping that action!! :lmao:
