The "Newest" Moms Hangout...

So you don't ovulate if you don't have AF?

Learn something new everyday. I thought you could still get pregnant, though? If you're BF'ing?

There was this ADORABLE navy blue dress at the store. And I bought a pineapple dress before I was ever even pregnant with Lucas (I ADORE pineapples... they are all over my house) that my friend keeps reminding me of. I don't even remember what it looks like, though!

WHAT?! TWINS?!

Why do you do that to me?! :rotfl:

I have convinced myself I am just feeling things sooner because this is a girl! :)

Did I ever mention that my grandmother was a twin? And I have cousins that are twins? Oh, crap. I better get that ultrasound next week!! :rotfl:

:lmao::lmao: Having twins is SUCH fun. No.. Really.. It is. ;):lmao: Just a couple of days ago, Vinny crawled over to Jazzy and head butted her until she fell over. Then he bit her on the foot. :confused3:lmao:

Wondering how having 3 babies in 37 months can turn your brain into a big pile of mush. Class started yesterday and I am way in over my head. I don't even have enough brain cells to BS my way through this one.:lmao:

Anyone else feeling the "mommy mush" brain?:confused3

Sarah - Good luck with DH!

YES. So much. I forget everything..

Patsy

Just think if you had twins like V and J. The best of both worlds....you could recycle Lucas's clothes AND buy lots of cute girl clothes!;)

Umm...well yes you can ovulate without having AF and you can get preggers while bfing. I think a lot of women get AF back by 6 months postpartem...ack I don't want to think about it right now! lol

Should we send Patsy boy/girl twin pixie dust?? :wizard: :rotfl:

Oh yes, that sounds delightful!!

But with a 15m old???

I would love b/g twins! That would be so awesome :lovestruc

It would be forever until I finally got my degree, though! Man. And there is no way we'd be able to afford childcare for me to finish until they were all 2.
Heck, I don't know that I'd have the sanity to go back to school until they were all 2.

Lisa, I've totally got mommy mush. I have a full courseload this semester and I'm wiped. Physically exhausted from the pregnancy and mommy mush brain from Lucas. I am sooo glad I decided to drop the other two classes at the last minute. No way could I have done 18 hours!!!

DH is at class right now. It's very bizarre to be home at night without him. He's at a Business Law class that meets for 3 hours on Tuesday nights! Crazy!!!

So I think we're going to start solids this weekend. Lily's doing all of the things on the kellymom checklist for readiness. I wanted to wait, but this will only be one week early if going by calendar months...if by every four weeks, we're well past 6 months. :-P

Sarah, have you tried any foods at all yet?

ETA: meaning I know you haven't started them, but I meant rice cereal...

What are you going to start with?

I don't give Lucas as much solids as I should. He makes a mess and it's so time consuming! He looooves the peas that I made with a bit of the soy powder mixed in. Not so wild about the jar stuff.

I might break out apples again tonight and try. Still another hour that I am DH-less. :(

Listening to American Idol in the background.

Adi, so sorry to read that you were ill. I'm glad that they found out the problem before it got any worse. I hope that your LO is taking back to nursing now.
Thanks! It is going better, though she went back to wanting to nurse every two hours during the day, instead of the 3 hours she was going before I was hospitalized. Not sure if it is because of the hospital and my supply being lower, or if it is her 3 month growth spurt (She'll be turning three months this weekend). She is latching well (though doesn't seem to be sucking as vigorously, but I am not complaining) and we are getting enough dirty diapers so I have to assume all is going well. The last few nights she's been putting up an INSANE fight to go to sleep (seems to go from around midnight til 2/3 am, but then she'll sleep for 4-5 hours). Thankfully my DH has been super helpful, especially since I am still healing from the surgery.

First I blamed it on pregnancy brain (your brain literally shrinks 4%, did you know) and now I guess I'll blame it on Mommy Mush ;)

That sounds really great! So glad everything seems to be going well!

Great, did I give my brain enough time to rejuvenate??

Ha...hopefully there's a very rapid recovery rate.

Too quiet around here. I keep going to slickdeals and wasting money I may not have soon...it's an addiction.

Did anyone get the 20/30/40% off PIN for the whole year? I want it!!!

:headache: ARGGGGGh! I just typed a lot and my computer froze.

I haven't seem much on slickdeals since Christmas or once I see it the price is back up. I did see NFL piggy banks that are really cute.

I'm going to Orlando in a few weeks. Spending one night at POP and the rest off site. This trip will have one Magic Kingdom day, mostly since Lilliana will be able to ride with us on most rides. Plus DS5 loves it there:love:The rest will be Universal and relaxing.

Not sure if anyone is planning Universal anytime soon, the ticket prices are going up. They are doing away with the $99 7 day ticket. They are making the ticket structure more like Disney. The Universal Orlando site has the new prices but some of the ticket brokers have the $99 - They should have and expiration date.
