Debbie!

I was just uploading pictures from our underwater camera (the only one I've been willing to carry in the parks this week), and found this picture. In a single image, it portrays the essence of our trip so far.

Yes, we're at Disney World, so of course we're still having fun! Soggy, dripping fun, though.

Here in Houston, its a bright sunny day. The Weather Channel says its currently 93 degrees but it feels like 102. If you want to trade places, PM me.

Say Hi to Debby if you see her!

Uh o, you are in trouble now you misspelled her name, its Debby, :rotfl2:

You are really going to get it now. ;)

I now know what it means to be extremely lucky. We were there June 10-20. For about two weeks before June 10 there were many days of long rains and thunderstorms because some system just decided to come into the area and stall and sit there. June 10-20 were perhaps the best June days I have ever seen at WDW, some T storms a few days but otherwise sunny, just below 90 during the afternoon, but the humidity was unusually low for that time of year and there was a constant breeze making the mornings and evenings almost April-like. A couple days after we left Debby moved in.

We were there the week before. We did have 2 days of warm weather, the rest of our two weeks was just rain. We had a great time though. Just wore out our ponchos. Had to throw them out.

It was Beryl at first, then it went away, and then it just started raining. I was trying to see the Transit of Venus on Tuesday the 5th and just saw the backside of water.

First it was

Wow!

I was lucky like another poster, was there June 8 to 17. When the rains came, I was usually just enjoying the resort.

I love love love this picture! Thank you for sharing!

I hope you are all dried out! :laundy:

Glad you are still having a good time though! That picture gives the rest of us an idea of how challenging it is to have fun in those conditions!

I can feel your pain! We were there in 2008 when TS Fay decided to take an extended vacation over Florida. The rain was so hard it felt like little knives hitting you all day. The rain was actually horizontal at times!

You and me both..we were there 6/14-6/22 and I couldn't believe how amazing the weather was...it was cooler in WDW than in Philly!!!

So sorry for Debby down pouring you Dave!!!

That is rough. I'll trade the 108 degree heat and no rain for the last month with you.

omg.....Wow I have been to Disney many, many times and have never taken a shot like that. I hope you were able to enjoy some of your vacation. Someday you will laugh about that picture and have a great story. Poor Sully he was soaked. How long to take to dry that costume or is it a total loss:sad2:

We just got back as well, and the first 3-4 days were torrential. But, Thursday's weather made up for it. Warm, and *dry* without a single cloud in the sky, all day long. It was the most amazing summer weather day I've ever seen in Orlando.
