I booked a Concierge room with an AP rate for our Spring Break trip. This is during Peak Season :earseek: . So Passholder Rates are definitely sometimes available on Concierge rooms...
Good Luck! princess:

Thanks for the input :)! FL Tours does not charge for the grocery stop, so we may just get a 6-pack of Coke and some snacks.

Trust me, we will live it up--but within limits ;). We're getting a luxury car service--used FL Tours on our last trip to WDW in Oct. 2003 and are now spoiled with that. We aren't usually breakfast people, but we will DEFINITLEY be eating at WCC for breakfast 3 out of the 4 days we will be there (LOVE their omelet with everything in it). We also have dinner PSs at Marrakesh, LTT, 'Ohana, and Palio (love their Caesar salad with freshly imported anchovies and their tortelloni with lobster---YUM!). I am sure we will order room service at least once during this trip (DH loves this). Just being at WDW is living it up for us--I also love the PLANNING :)!

BTW, Fred, have a magical and fun-filled trip! You must be so excited to be leaving in less than 48 hours!! And you'll have all your beautiful women with ya :)

:wave2:

Hi Erika,

I just figured out that we will be at WL the same dates Feb 6-10. DH, myself, DD7 and DS8. I don't have a countdown clock (new to posting) but I can just look at yours!!!!

This board has been so very WONDERFUL for the planning!! I'm in love with the lodge and have never seen it in person.

Fred, Have a magical trip ( 4 hours and counting)!!!!!

Smiles and pixie dust to all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cindy

Hey guys

Can you tell me a little about the boat that runs to the Contemporary? How frequent is it? When does it start and end running each day?

Thank you

Not sure what time it starts running each day but I can say we've never waited more than 5 minutes or so. It's a really short ride. Sometimes this boat does the circle from the toaster to WL then to FW then back to the toaster but I've only seen that once.

Cyas all later!

Fred

Thought I would pop in here and lend a hand as Fred might be already headed down to the World- lucky guy!

The 'toaster' is another name for the Contemporary because it looks like something that should be sitting on ones kitchen counter to toast bread! (On a much smaller scale of course!)

If I remember correctly, the boat that does the Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge loop stops running at 10 pm.

Hope that helps! Happy planning!

That makes sense now LOL :) and 10pm seems pretty good tome to get some dinner and catch the boat back.

Many Thanks??

...trip, Fred, and don't forget to pat Roy's, errr, I mean, HUMPREY'S nose for us!

HEY, CindyD !! It seems that a lot of us Louisianians are headed to the world to get AWAY from Mardi Gras. Man, I hope it isn't going to be as crowded as I think it will be.

If you see a short girl wearing a lime green DIS fanny pack, that'll be me--come say "Hi!" I know you must be getting so excited.

:wave2:

When is mardi gras? We will be there 1/30-2/5. I am getting so excited! This will be our first stay at the WL. I think that there will be average attendance when we are there. Last year we went to Epcot and it was dead. It almost took some of the fun out of it. It was a little spooky. I love to people watch and a lot of the other park goers are freindly and the ones that annoy us always provide us with a laugh or two. Last year one family cut us in 3 different lines. Why I don't know. My husband and I were laughing so hard that I was crying. I thought it was so funny how rude they were. I leave my Boston attitude at home when we vacation. Wow, that was a long story. Sorry for the rambling on.
Tara :D

I am now really sad that I didn't book my trip this February. This will be the first time I haven't gone in February since 2001...I tried to book a room at the WL but they only had the VP suite...LOL!! Yeah!! I could try to explain THAT bill!

Cause he is having too much fun to taunt us! :badpc:

Wahhhh!! we're home - it was wonderful - Trip #4 to the WL and 2nd time on the CL. I felt a bit snobby - but loved being escorted past the at leat45-minute check-in wait - right up to the 7th floor. (OK - I MUST have earned WL Vet title by now...)

DS 5 loved the trip - he likes things "familiar" so going back to the same resort works well for him - and DH and I love the Lodge. The weather was spectacular - mornings in the upper 50s and days in the 70s and even 80s - we swam nearly every day - and did Blizzard beach one day - with no goosebumps!

This was the first visit that DS5 felt brave enough to walk up to a few characters - this happened on our next-to-last-day so we don't have a ton of pictures - but the look of pride on his face after conquering his fear was the best - he kept on smiling to himself - I knew he was proud.

We ate at Boma at the AKL - fantastic... but all the rest of our meals were either the CL offerings or counter service - but we were having so much fun we rarely wanted to stop long enough for a long meal.

Jake (DS) love "Turtle Talk with Crush" at the Living Seas pavillion - he was actually asked a question by crush "hey the little dude with the red shell - do you like to swim" - and then when Jake said his name was "Jacob" (my son gets very formal when speaking with marine wild-life it seems) Crush referred to him as Jacob several times - a great treat for the little one and their parents too.

what else... - oh just all the usual wonderful sights and sounds and tastes and smells

Our Room - 7056 - we were originally assigned a courtyard view across the hall but we asked if we could have a magic kingdom view instead - and they had one - we got to see Wishes whenever we were in the room. The amount of trees they lost during the hurricanes is noticable - but only if you've been there before - it doesn't look "messy" you can just see things you couldn't before. It made the view of Magic Kingdom SPECTACULAR - as opposed to the "peek" we were able to get last year. There were two days they shut the water off - both due to leaks - unfortunately the first time I was in the shower - when they shut off just the HOT water - cold cold cold cold cold! LOL - they appologized profusely (perhaps they heard me squeeeeeeeal!)

Any questions???

...sounds like you had an AWESOME time!! (Please post some pix...I need a WDW fix, BA-A-A-A-AD!!)

hmmm - I've never done that

when dh takes them off his laptop I'll try

but I think they alllll have ds in them - there may be a few of the parades

I miss it already... I want to go back NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!
