I know this is a weird question. Does anyone know if Roaring Forks has Mickey Waffles?? They're not listed on Allears menu, and we're thinking about staying there on our next trip, but my 5yo would be really sad if he couldn't have Mickey Waffles every morning-- he really loves them.

I have stayed both courtyard view and standard view and would have to say that I am definitely hooked on inner courtyard view! I don't think that I would ever book a standard view at WL again! :rotfl2: Aw heck...who am I kidding!...I would stay in a broom closet at WL if they let me!! :scratchin

If they start renting broom closets for us poorer WL lovers - please let me know! :rotfl2:

They have Mickey waffles at the Trail's End buffet in Fort Wilderness - a lovely walk or boatride away! Not that it's quite the same as having them in your home resort, but at least it's an option & you could still stay in ( :worship: ) WL! Just a thought...

Hello fellow WL lovers. We are returning this year after falling in love with this resort last year. We had woods view 5th floor, great view of MK fireworks. We booked woodsview this year with hopes of same view again but also requested bunk beds, is this even possilble? Will get rid of bunk beds for the view in a heartbeat.

Thank you for the tremendous amount of information - due to your enthusasim, and information, I have bit the bullet and have booked a WL stay!!

Of course I didnt book early enough - so no standard rooms available - we're going over a long weekend Sept 29 - Oct 2 Woodsview, for now anyway!! :rotfl:

When I was there last time they had them. As stated above they do have them at Trails End and also at WCC not to mention at boat ride away at CS or Poly.

I didn't think the boat went to the Poly. . .does it??

To my knowledge WCC nor Roaring Fork has Mickey Waffles but they do serve them over at the Trail's End Buffet in Fort Wilderness Campground.

No the boat routes from/to Wilderness Lodge don't stop at the Polynesian.
As many know there are two separate boat routes that serve Wilderness Lodge:

The Blue Flag Resort Boats Run continuously between the three resorts (Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary Resort and Ft. Wilderness Campground) there are at lest two of these smaller boats that run two routes one clockwise around Bay Lake the other counterclockwise. Always check with the boat Captian as to which resort the boat will be headed for next, this will save you some time by not riding to say Ft. Wilderness if you want the Contemporary.

The larger Green Flag Boats operate between The Wilderness Lodge, Ft. Wilderness Campground and the Magic Kingdom the first boat in the am will start out appx one hour before the Magic Kingdom opens at Ft. Wilderness. Then it arrives at Wilderness Lodge about 7:20am on EMH or 8:20am if normal park hours.

You can get to Poly by taking the boat to CS and then Monorail to Poly. And say it again They do have Mickey Waffles at WCC They are served with the breafast skillet.

Do you think this is the best way to get to the Poly, or does one of the buses stop there for pick up on the way to a park where we could just get off when they stop there to pick up guests? I remember stopping there, but is this consistently done?

If we are not lucky enough to get a room with a view of Wishes, is there a public lounge on one of the upper floors that we can go to and see it? Or should we take the boat to CR; I understand that they have some place on the 4th foor you can stand and watch it.

I am sooo excited! I leave on 4/3 for Ft. Lauderdale to watch my miracle boy swim in the Y Nats, then arrive to the WL on 4/7! That next day we will drive to the house my in-laws have rented to surprise my husband for his upcoming 50th birthday!

I know it would have been better to have his dinner at WCC, but my SIL wanted it at a house so she can party the night away! Got to make them happy!

I tried to find this answer for the last hour---I'm sure it's here, please help!

Has a list been compiled of bunk bed rooms yet? If so, where can I find it?

Thanks!

I've been trying to get this answer this week too with no avail, I'm hoping someone posts this soon. Would love to know.

I've never seen a complete list.

I can tell you I stayed in the north wing room #2012 which had bunk beds. I think all the rooms that end in _ _ 12 on the different floors have bunk beds in the north wing. So I think 3012, 4012 etc. would be BB rooms...but I'm not certain of this.

tardin1964 in the bb room you stayed in what was your view like? We req'd bb rooms for our stay 4/23-4/30.Also do they have connecting doors with the bb rooms? Thanks for your input.

Room 2012 is a woodsview room. Could see the otter pond but the room is too low to see the MK or monorail.

It did have a connecting door to room 2010. But I'm not sure if you're asking if there are connecting rooms that both have bunk beds or if a regular room is connected to a bun bed room?

I was wondering if the connecting room to the bb was a regular room.My in-laws are traveling with us .Do you know if bbrooms also have courtyard, because we booked courtyard view with bb room req'd.Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes... there are bunk bed rooms that have a courtyard view and I'm sure some connect with regular rooms.

Eeyore45, you stated you're going over a long weekend - Sept. 29-Oct.2 - what is the holiday? I'm shocked that there are no standard rooms available 7 months out. Is this normal?
