WE have always had courtyard views and now we have a woods view, leaving next week. Do any of the "woods view" rooms also have a MK/Wishes view WITHOUT being over the beeping delivery area? Whew! Any Expert know?

Thank you so much!!

We had Room 5026 - woodsview overlooking the otter pond - no delivery trucks. You could view the CR from our balcony during the day. In the evening we could see the top of the castle and Wishes.

Does anyone know if the otter ponds view rooms (mainly 5012 - 5032) have bunkbeds? We are trying to get a Magic Kingdom view and were told these rooms should have them (with a woods view booking) but we also wanted bunk beds. Just hoping that we can get both. Thanks for any info.

This room had 2 Queen beds.

We have already reserved our woods view rooms for our trip at the end of April, I have one question though. If I wanted to request a certain room location how do I do it? I know that cretain room numbers on the 6th floor north wing, have views of the Magic Kingdom. Do I just request the room numbers, like from room 6202(just guessing about room #'s here) - 6235? Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is our first time staying at a Deluxe resort and would like to get the best view possible for our money!!

Wooooo HOooooooo! We will be at the Wilderness Lodge Villas from June 19-26, 2005!

Am I excited? Heck yes!

Has anyone been able to use the dining plan credit (perhaps a counter service credit) for the food in Territory Lounge? The potato skins, fruit and cheese plate sound much better than Roaring Forks. Of course, We'd be happy to buy a drink too ;)

I'm sorry I can't answer your question about the dining plan but I can tell you that the cheese plate is excellent. I ordered it along with a glass of Port and it was just great. My DH had the potato skins and he loved them. Territory Lounge is a very nice spot to just kick back and relax.

Enjoy. :)

Thanks Jeanne, Sounds like we'll have to try it with or without the meal plan.

On the 6th floor the Woods View rooms that would have the best view of the Castle and Wishes would be over looking the otter pond. They are the even # rooms starting with room 6034-6004. With room 6034 having one of the best unobstructed views, the futher away or down the hall the room is located the less likely you would be able to see Wishes.

The 6th floor North Wing is smoking optional, both Woods View and Courtyard View.

When I make my request for a Woods View I just ask for North Wing over looking otter pond 5th floor.

Does anybody know if there are any bed options at the WLV studios? I've got a studio booked for me, my wife, and our 2 year old daughter. As far as I know, we'll be getting a queen and a pull out couch. I guess I'd rather have my daughter in a bed than on a pull out. So my ideal would be 2 qeens, or even 1 king. Are there any options at all or are all the studios the same?

Oh, and do any of the studios have views of either Wishes or that electric boat parade?

Thanks.

BostonRob

Sorry the studio's are 1 queen bed and 1 queen sofa bed standard at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. The one-bedroom has a King Size bed in the master bedroom and queen sofa in the living room.

(Each studio has a Pac-n-Play that younger children sleep in)

The only studio's that have 2 queen size beds are over at OKW.

The Villas are located on the south side of the Lodge so the Views for Wishes are blocked. A few studio's may have a partial view of the EWP click on the link below for locations of villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Well it's official. We will be staying at WL May 7-14 woodsview(AP $165 per night). Now I have been reading along and taking notes. I will be sure to ask about the "Flag family". I am unsure of a room request. How about refrigerators? Are they in every room now? I am hear Whispering Canyon is better for dinner. Are PS's necessary? I did request bunkbeds. Does anyone know which rooms have them and if I should request a particular room? We will be landing at MCO at 9:19am. We are taking a towncar over to the WL. Has anyone ever gotten a room that early in the day? :flower:

 :wave2: princess: princess:

Yes, I'd say PS's are necessary for Wispering Canyon. A few days ago I made one for Tuesday 4/26 and the earliest available for dinner was 7:10 PM. So make those PS's ASAP!

I have a bunk bed room requested for our upcoming trip. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the bunkbeds are free standing or are against a wall? I have a 2 1/2 year old and will ask for a bed rail, but really don't want 2 bed rails. From some photos I saw, I thought they were against the wall, but if they aren't, I may switch back to 2 queens.
Thanks in advance!

We were just there in February and the bunk beds are NOT against the wall.
You have open floor space on both sides of the beds and rails would be needed for both sides (unless things have changed since them),
Hope this helps!!! Cindy

The bunk beds are not next to the wall there is a space between the bed and wall...This photo is from Deb's photo site. The top bunk has rails built on.

has anyone ever spent Sat at Lodge, switched to Villas Sun-Fri then back to Lodge Sat & Sun? was it easy enough? all new keys each time? did you still need to wait all day?

We'll be going to WL in November/December and can't wait! I know my kids would probably like the bunk beds, and I probably would too because that will keep them out of *my bed! <g> It seems I read somewhere but I can't remember if it was WL or AKL that bunk beds aren't an option for some views. We'll only be able to afford a standard view room, are bunk beds available in those rooms? If so are they in OK locations?
