Sharon and Kristin-
Which MNSSHP are you going to? We are going Oct 2. Of course my DS-11 will not wear a costume, tried to talk him into at least a halloween t-shirt and it is NO WAY!! Our DD is very excited and keeps emailing me threads from the DIS, should have never sent her the link..she is driving me crazy wanting to change ADR's- forget that!! She is just biding her time anyway since her BF will return from Iraq a week after we get back- hopefully she does not wish her WDW trip away.
DS does not know what hotel we are going to, we watched the Samantha Brown show on the WL and he still did not get it....DD of course guessed.

If your kids are like mine we will probably see you all around the pool in the afternoons.

Bev
Hi! We'll be at the Oct. 2 and Oct. 5 parties. My DS-12 did not want to wear a costume at first, but finally gave in seeing that the rest of us including my Mom will be in costume. Look for us, I'll be Belle in her village dress, my sister is Wendy, my Mom is a Haunted Mansion ghost maid, DS will be a pirate and DD will be Belle in her yellow gown.
We also love to watch the Samantha Brown show on the WL. It's getting us so excited to go! Have a magical trip! :wizard:

This will be my twin boys 1st trip to Disney-and we are celebrating their 7th birthday October 8 :wizard: :wizard:

Wanted to thank all of you for the tremendous help I have received from these boards. The Wilderness Lodge has always been a dream for my husband, and I am so glad we can stay here this trip!!

We are booked standard view-I have read ALL the posts, but still am looking for any suggestions for asking for room requests. I have asked for non-smoking and that is about it. Any suggestions from the veterans??

Thanks again-only21 more days :lmao:

From page 1 post #1
STANDARD ROOMS: All Non-Smoking rooms with 2 Queen Beds.
Located on Floors 4,5 & 6. On the North(MK) side, they face the service area. There are also 4th floor rooms that overlook the lobby and look out to roof peaks.

Between the service area and roof peaks most might choose the roof peaks, but while the rooms on the North side overlook the service areas they also face the MAGIC KINGDOM. So I would request North Wing 6th floor. You should be high enough so unless you look straight down you will overlook the driveway out over the trees to a view of the Contemporary Resort with the Monorail gliding to and from the resort, then just beyond the monorail the
Castle and at night time WISHES FIREWORKS.

Sending PIXIE DUST that YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.
(Maybe even a free upgrade)

Where will you be on 10/8?

We are going wherever our boys want, as it will be our last full day before we leave for home...so maybe we will see your birthday boy!!

Deena

We will be at MK and Chef Mickey's for dinner. Maybe we will see you around.

Guess we are destined to meet at one time or another...we are also having dinner at Chef Mickey's for dinner. ADR at 5:10, so we can dash back to MK for the rest of the evening. What time is your ADR?

Isn't it cool to celebrate a 7th birthday(or two or three birthdays :) ) at Disney!!

Here's to some great celebrations :grouphug:
