Yes, they do. They have high speed internet access now available right in the room. Does he have a laptop? He would need that to access it. It is 9.99 for each 24 hours of access, we found that it was best to log on at night because then you had it a full 24 hours after that initial log on.
They do not have public computers available for use and internet, you would need a laptop.

We were in standard rooms in June and faced the castle. We were on the sixth floor, north wing - room 6056 and had a great view of Wishes at night. It was a non smoking room and overlooked the service bay, but had a great view of the castle and the fireworks. The noise from the service area wasn't that bad.

we are stying In the Villas next month in a 2 bedroom. we are taking my mother & hoping to get as close to the elevators as we can. is it possible to ask for that or is a hit or miss?

It was a regular balcony. We had a nice time the nights that we were in the room for Wishes sitting out on the balcony watching the fireworks or just being in the room with the curtains open watching.

Bears163: I have asked for that at WL and gotten it. I have always been successful with requests a WL even though you can't fax them! They are so friendly there...I am staying standard view for the first time and hoping to get my requests! Good luck.

I am taking my wife to Disney for our 15th anniversary (staying at the WL in early November)and would like to do several things special for her. If any wives had a great expierence courtsey of thier dear husband (yes, were all dear in our own way) I would love to hear about it (were dear not necessarily original). Thanks.

We stayed at VWL in February and I requested a room close to the elevators when I made my reservation with Member Services and asked again at checkin. Remember that room requests are not guaranteed but they do try to honor them if they can. We ended up with a room about 4 doors down from the elevator. It never hurts to ask!

Take her to dinner at Artist Point. Let them know it is your anniversary. They are great!!

Also, Chris in the Food and Beverage department at the WL is amazing!!! My last birthday, my husband was very sneaky and spoke with her and he had ordered me a special cake to be delivered for dessert at Artist Point. She came through with flying colors. She was very helpful, you might want to call and ask her for suggestions. The number is the main number to the lodge: 407-824-3200, just make sure you ask for Chris in Food and Beverage.

I recently had a wonderful riesling from Artist Point. It was called Snoqualmie Naked Riesling, Columbia 04. It was $35.00 a bottle.

This wine was really nice, not too sweet, but crisp and very light.

My husband likes sweeter wines. He likes the Hogue Late Harvest, Columbia 05 at $35.00 a bottle.

Does the pool get very crowded during June and July. Do many guests from VWL visit the pool at WL?

It seems now that we have been several times, each trip seems a bit more relaxed with more time spent at the pool. We are able to see what we want in the early morning and evening and enjoy the pool during the hottest part of the day.

We were just there this past June and it was more crowded than I can remember it being before. I saw MANY visitors coming on the boats from VWL to swim and leaving in their suits. I didn't think this was allowed and it made me upset because that is why we pay extra for a deluxe. I'm hoping this next July isn't as crowded as it was this past June.

When we were there last week there were guest from Pop and All Stars using WL's pool and bragging about it. How they go the park and then visit other hotels in the afternoon and then go back to the park to catch their own bus. A grand gathering of 24 people!!
