I KNOW you've watched it! And you probably know all the words to the theme song. If not:

There's a magic in the early morning we found,
When the sun rise smiles on everything around.
It's a portrait of the happiness that we feel and always will,
For eight is enough to fill our lives with love.

Oh we spend our days like bright and shiny new dimes.
If we're ever puzzled by the changing times.
There's a plate of homemade wishes on the kitchen window sill,
And eight is enought to fill our lives with love.

How can anyone forget the Bradfords? There's David, Mary, Nancy, Joannie, Susan, Elizabeth, Tommy and Nicholas.
OK, this is scary! :scared:

Obviously I'm not old enough to have watched this particular television program during it's initial run, let alone being so familiar with it as to know the theme song by heart.

No. I grew up with:

"Transformers...robots in disguise...
Transformers...more than meets the eye..."

AND

"I bet we been together for a million years,
And I bet we'll be together for a million more.
Oh, It's like I started breathing on the night we kissed,
And I can't remember what I ever did before.

What would we do baby, Without Us?
What would we do baby, Without Us?

And there ain't no nothing we can't love each other through.
What would we do baby, Without Us?

Sha la la la."

Now those are real TV shows. :p

First Lewski and now you. I'm so jealous, I'm not allowed to moon anymore. But I can still do this!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_26.gif' border=0></a> Especially since it's just a girls here......

Man, I just run to the store for a minute, and you guys fill up two pages!

Okay, does anyone know anything about watercolors? I signed up for a class which starts on Monday, and I took the supply list with me to Michaels and did one of these -- . I'm a watercolor virgin!

several sheets 140# cold pressed Arches
or a water color block

What the heck is a water color block?
I found the arches, but do I buy the huge poster board size or do I get a sketchbook with sheets of watercolor 140 lb. pressed arches?

stapler (if you have a stretching board (gaterboard) that will take staples)
or masking tape (to tape on any board)

Does this mean I need to buy a gaterboard? I thought they only had gaters in Florida?!

sketchbook (a charcoal-type sketchbook?)

water container(s) (Can I use plastic disposable cups)

I am so stressed! I thought painting was supposed to make you feel peaceful -- like drawing those happy little trees and those happy mountains...Anyone remember Bob Ross (God rest his soul). DH and I used to lay on the couch on Saturday afternoons and take naps together while listening to his happy little voice. :p

Hey Huggabaloo, check out this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=517097
Why should you? Well, the OP is from your town and since you are moving to Orlando, you could maybe help her.

BTW, when is that interview?
Wow! That is a coincidence! I will definitely reply to her but...

I'm actually getting ready to leave for my interview today in Atlanta (it's at 4:00). I just hopped out of the shower and will be leaving here in a few minutes (yes, Bichon Barb, I'll get dressed first... ).

So, this will be my last post til I get back! See ya! :wave2:

Gee Whiz people....

I go to the drug store for some delsym and you all
smilie_quatschen1.gif
non-stop. Sorry I can't help Bichon Barb. My 11 yr. old is the major artist in the family
painter.gif
and he's at school. I don't even try to figure out oil from water and SB from HB (he draws too). I could never be like Bob. I do remember "gentle strokes" when he was working on clouds. I personally like the books where all I need is a cup of water and a paintbrush.:teeth:

disneyluvers -- :rotfl: I like those books too, but there never seems to be enough "paint" to finish the picture. :p Hey, if our trips in August overlap, do ya wanna do lunch? I forgot, how many kids do you have and ages? I have boys who are 8 and 10.

I'm proud of myself, because I never sign up for any "higher education". This is an adult education program offered through the school district. I think it's eight, 2 1/2 hour classes for only $30.00. I know a lot of people complain about their public school systems, but we really do have great schools in our area.

Oh gosh! Good luck Huggabaloo! We will all sit here thinking happy thoughts until you come back and tell us we can stop.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_1_17v.gif' border=0></a>

Sorry Barb no help here either, but it sure sounds like fun. I'm sure you will make a fine artist.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1004.gif' border=0></a> Wish I could join you. Love to paint, sketch and color. Maybe RRBB will know something, she's very crafty.

How can you tell you addicted to WDW. Well there is a chance I may be layed off June 30th. We;ll see. After the initial shock the first things I thought of was "Oh man I hope we can still go to Florida!"

I've never posted on this board before but I had to respond!

According to my DH he figured out the addiction on my part last Friday night. (The Pooh tattoo or the fact that our daughter is named Belle wasn't a good enough hint apparently;) )But I was going in for an MRI and was scared out of my mind (not a big fan of small places) and got DH to agree to take the family to WDW for Halloween if I made it through the MRI and didn't have to be pulled out due to a panic attack. I made it! :Pinkbounc

His friends were convinced he was talking about one of the kids :p

He's ready to sign me up for a 12 step program now.

My name is Jessica and I'm a Disney addict........... (and I'm going back to lurking now :) )

TinkBoo&ElliesMum Please stay and pick a color. We have a hoot of a time over here. Most of us are a bit hooty to begin with so that helps.
Bichon Barb Too true Too true. Plus I'm always trying to mix the colors so I can say I'm a "real" artist. We'll be at the CBR 19-24. My boys are 5
smilie_sofahuepf.gif
(if you ask him he's 5 1/2) and 11 (he does this
smilie_hae.gif
a lot).
Gotta go and try to convince the youngest that he is sick right now and needs to rest instead of swinging from the ceiling fan. (Nope, you don't want to know what he really is doing right now.) Bye Bye

Hey Jessica...don't lurk....stay and play!

I Can Not Believe how chatty 'yall have been today. Sneaking in a quick peek at work and there were pages!!!

llebreknit, our April trip is the w/o the 19th....trust me, I checked the 'wheel' to see if anyone was going to be at WDW that week, would have made my decision WAY easier. PixieMagic walked by my desk earlier and said, "This is a test, see how you feel when I say this" then she said "We're going to California" Well, I wasn't overcome with a wave of sadness or excitement so it just goes to show I'm still conflicted about the destination. The hotel rates in San Diego are WAY up there and so is GASOLINE, making an AllStars visit to WDW very, very, tempting.

BichonBarb, hope you love your class. My calligraphy class is way fun....it's tonight! Can't help you on supplies. I signed up for a watercolor class about 25 years ago!!! and didn't finish it. I'm and pen and ink kind of gal, I guess.

BTW, RickNY made me choke on my water with the 'hetrosexually challenged' comment.

OK, back to work.

Really, TinkBoo&EllisMum....stay and play!

I loved Bob Ross. I wish I talked like him sometimes. I talk really fast & loud.

Wow! You guys have been quite chatty...and a little silly today. I just got back from the Doctor's office. DS-Josh woke up this morning & said his knee was hurting very bad. He didn't hit it on anything, but he was having a hard time putting any pressure on it (he could barely walk!). Well, I went into panic mode & called the doctor (I had a girlfriend's whose daughter had pain in her hip & they took her to the ER & she had a virus & had to have it drained & was in the hospital for a week!). Anyway, took Josh to the doctor & doc thinks he has "synovitis" which means he has some inflammation around the joint. He looked in his throat & it was red which made him think it may be caused by a virus. He tested him for Strep, but it was negative. Anyway, he prescribed "Orapred" to control the inflammation & said to watch it & call if his knee gets hot or turns red. Well, two new toys later, Josh is on the couch watching The Disney Channel.

Hey ohanafamily, your idea to call my brother is hysterical. You see, we aren't a touchy-feely, talk about your feelings kind of family. He would think I had gone off the deep end. He'd probably say we need to quit talking to the wackos on the internet!;) Nice thought, though.

Welcome to the TAGLIARCHY TinkBoo&ElliesMum!!! Stay awhile.

Well, almost time for GH, I'll talk to you ya-hoo's later.
