It used to bother me, but I have a few women friends in this business and they told me they get the same reaction. I have a big wide desk with a keyboard, Monitor, 3 big computers and an HP printer on it. There is also lots of paper and clutter. Under the monitor is a box that lets me use one moue, Keyboard, and monitor for the three computers.....

Cheeringmom, yes, I have a day job. But at night, I fly through the sky in tights and a big cape, clutching my wand and flicking it to and fro, sprinkling everyone with magical things.

And Neica/Nephasaurus, Ohanafamily and RRBB, thank you all so much for the package the other day. Bill (aka The Prince of Darkness) LOVES his stretchy pig! Last night, when we were getting ready for bed, he was on his own bed, with the pig firmly tucked between his paws with his noggin resting on it. It's now his new favorite toy, unseating his hedgehog and duck.

And by the way, now I know why you said not to open the package in front of Joe. The chocolate covered espresso beans! Since I opened it at work, and saw my little treasures, I ripped open the box and proceeded to gobble handful after handful. I was bouncing off the walls

Funny part was that Joe was in the neighborhood and stopped by for a visit. When he saw me all jittery and eye buggy-like, he asked what was wrong. Before I knew it, he saw my stash sitting on my desk!

Lots of finger wagging and "Hey! We talked about this!" But I snatched them back and hid them. Mine! All mine!

Thanks again!

Now it's off to Time Square and cocktails at the Millenium (some shiny hotel bar) with friends.

What, have you been hanging out in our house and we didn't see you [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]? Each computer has a name - like "Vacuum". At the moment, at least, "Bachosaurus" controls the email, "Nieceosaurus" controls our money, "Babeosaurus" is on my desk, and "Nephosaurus" is sitting by the CD duplicator. Sitting on my scrapping table upstairs is "Figment". See, they all have a computer named after them.

I'm so excited. I am a huge fan of the x-files (hence the name danauk, after the character Dana Skully.) Well Gillian Anderson the actress who plays Skully is in a play in the west end in April and my DH has just got tickets for it. We are going to see the show then stay the night in a posh London hotel!! I can't wait!! :jumping4:

You can see by the number of smilies exactly how excited I am!!

Well I've got to go now as it is gone 11:30pm here and I have to be up tomorrow to get my hair cut but I just had to tell you guys the news.

OK, here is the story with Rick and the chocolate truck, I saw a show on TV he had expressed an interest in, and taped it for him. Before I could send it, a certain green Dragon had to include something for his pal Bill (A new chew toy, Bacon flavored with a squeaker). It also had a Wonka Bar, and the aforementioned espresso beans. We had a lot of fun putting it together, and are glad it was well rec'd. I hope you all enjoy the video...and no, it does not contain any half naked pictures, or wand holding...

Happy Valentines day everyone,
I've just got back from the hair dressers (i was there for 2 1/2 hours) with a new blonde hair style (which I am really pleased with.) Is anyone doing anything special today? My DH bought some champagne yesterday and we are having Thai food delivered later (which I love.)
This afternoon we have a few jobs to do though. We are having a new carpet fitted on the stairs and landing on Monday so we need to take the old one up. This afternoon we are going into town to look at a conservatory show room. We are thinking of having one built on the back of our house so we can have another room.
I guess I better go and make some lunch now though.
