Yeah, it sounds good but I'm thinking it will be too sweet... for me. But I'm sure I can get someone to order it so I can have a nibble :)

I wonder if Tess is still there? Hope they're having a perfect celebration trip!:cool1:

When you wrote this, I was there, but I'm back now. Just getting over the vacation end drudgery--:laundy: --so I haven't had time to check in.

The resort was wonderful as usual and we had a good time. The Dolphins in Depth gets :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 --we just loved it. Our new graduate was thrilled with her gift.

On the downside, I spent all but perhaps 3 days of vacation fighting what seems to have become a chronic condition for me. I spent January, February, and part of March ill, literally. I was better in April and had more issues just before Memorial Day. I had hoped they resolved, but over graduation weekend, I became symptomatic again and spent most of the evenings of my vacation in bed. I managed to get out in the daytime, but was totally wiped by afternoon. Needless to say, I'm done messing with this illness and feeling like creeping crud. I went to the doctor today and insisted that I needed major testing and we had to get to the bottom of my problems. Nothing worse than counting down for 364 days to a vacation only to spend half of it sleeping in the room. :furious:

If there's a bright side to the whole illness scenario, my husband decided that we should go back with the kids next year to make up for my lack of fun this year. He and I had intended to go in the fall, but he has changed his tune--looks like our kids will enjoy another vacation on Mom and Dad. :lmao: We may try the month of May next year since both will be in college and done by the end of April. We're thinking around the 13th-23rd--shouldn't it be less costly then AND quieter? This year was very crowded for June--very much like our trip last July. . .

Anyway, I'll try and post more specifics later, I'm still doing battle with feeling cruddy and I'm wiped. . .

Oh, Tess, I'm sorry to hear that you've been so ill. I hope your doctor gets to the bottom of it soon and that you're on the mend to enjoy summer.

Glad the trip was good otherwise. May is less busy, cheaper and cooler (usually) I think. Plus it's less than 11 months now!:cool1:

I can't wait....only 9 more days and we will be at the Polynesian....so happy that I could dance now:yay:

Is breakfast with Lilo and Stitch worth it?? I have heard mixed reactions.

We'll be there in 9 more days too. Aloha!

Cool. I will be the one on the beach with the "Bald" headed dh and 2 little loud boys (3 and 5)..LOL You wouldn't miss us. We are always seated at the table farest to the beach and by the beach bar...

I'm not sure what the character breakfasts costs these days. But aside from the characters, ANY breakfast at Ohana is worth pretty much any price and the characters naturally add to the fun and magic. By the way, in addition to Milo and Stitch, Mickey and Goofy are also there. At least I'm fairly sure they are.

1) If you're afraid the Tonga Toast would be too sweet, try it without syrup first. I cant eat it with syrup, but it's perfect without :thumbsup2

2) The Ohana character breakfast is worth it to me just because of the breakfast sausage. The Polynesian has these huge breakfast sausages I havent seen anywhere else (think almost as thick as italian sausage), and I can easily eat my money's worth in those :rotfl:

The 'Ohana character breakfast is "just ok" in my opinion. The food is average and the character interaction is pretty good. I also like the fact that they added Lilo and Stitch a couple of years back. They fit in very well with the Polynesian theming and are not easily found elsewhere. It gets extra points because it's in my favorite restaurant at my favorite resort!

I hope you guys had fun and I cant wait to hear how it went.

For any of you guys who JUST returned from a stay at the Poly (we're so exited about our upcoming first trip Sept.21-26:banana: ) what design does the refillable mug for the Poly have on it? I'm hoping it will be a cool Poly one but I'm hearing conflicting reports about generic D mugs.

I just made my Photo Pass reservations for a photo shoot at the Poly @ the end of July. I made it for 5pm. Hopefully that this will be a good time :worship: , not to much sun & no rain :)

:moped:
Photopass is a completely new thing to me. :confused3
Could someone tell me specifics. Such as the cost. Are there specific locations to have photos taken? Is there a limit how many photos you can have taken? Can you have photos taken at all of the parks?
My understanding is that you can access your photos online and print them from there. Is that true? And, if so, can more than one member of your party have access to them?
Any info or advice will be greatly appreciated as always.
I hope everyone is having a magical day! party:

PS.
Hoping to have my late Sept reservations moved up to mid August.
I just can't wait much longer for some Tonga Toast.
I can only change my reservations if I can duplicate my Lagoon view Club package. Wish me luck!
