And try to savor every single moment. Look around, listen, smell, and take in all you can. I know that's not the kind of advice you were looking for but it's so easy to get caught up in the "rushing around" that you forget to bask in the beauty of this wonderful lodge!

Ask for the hints for the hidden Mickeys! Do it your first day, though. The clues are a little tricky and it will take a few days. It forces you to walk around the resort, though, which is a nice way to take a break.

babybunrab ~ I didn't know that you could get "hints" to the Hidden Mickey Search! That's funny -- we couldn't find too many of them on our own!

Last minute tips? Well, I'd say take time to relax in the lobby and take it all in. It is a beautiful resort. At least once eat dinner in the WCC. (breakfast & lunch are much more subdued in there)Oh yeah --- take a lot of pictures so that you won't feel so sad when you have to go home! (do Majestic's room/view survey for him too please!)

Back over a week now and we are in the process of planning our next trip home!

Magic and Mickeys Dream: have a great trip - adn be sure to ask to be flag family!! I asked on check-in on July 8 and they had two days during still available! (Dh was amazed that I even knew to ask about such a thing - I gave credit to the disBoards of course ). The view from the top of WL makes that resort even more breathtaking (if that's possible).

I asked this on the general resorts board and got different answers for different resorts, so I decided to get a WL-specific answer to my question:

I love to review my vacation video at the end of the day on a real TV (this is especially true now that my Sony Digital 8 Handycam's LCD viewfinder is broken )

Are the TVs currently at WL capable of handling videocam input so that you can view your video?

The ideal setup is if there are video and audio inputs built in (yellow, red and white for stereo, or just yellow and one other input for mono audio). Also, it's a lot easier if the inputs are in the front of the set, not the back.

Can any of you video-lovers who've stayed at WL recently help me? Thanks in advance.

H.e.l.l.o...? Anybody home? Guess you're all at the WL

Well, since my last post/question about resort TV got silence , let me try another...

As you can see from my countdown clock, we're going to WL next week. We've booked a Standard Room, and although we'll be happy if we get a complementary upgrade, we'll be fine if we don't. However, as the day draws nearer, I'm getting enticed by the idea of Concierge service, especially if at check-in it's available to us at a reasonable upgrade price (I've read of some amazing upgrade-to-Concierge deals).

So, my question is: can you get Concierge SERVICE at WL (i.e., access to the food, staff, seating area) without staying in a WL Concierge ROOM? If it is possible to ask for the service but take your assigned room, will that make the upgrade less expensive and easier to get?

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but I felt so badly that no one was writing back. .. Just wanted you to know someone is reading what you write. I haven't stayed at the Lodge yet - we're going Nov/Dec 2005. We 're still in the process of planning which is why I read this thread. Good luck - I'm sure someone will answer you soon - really nice people on this thread. Maybe they ARE all at the Lodge...
