We are at 23 days today Still haven't received our ME package, is it time to be concerned and contact my TA?

Oh I'm at day 22!

Around day 45 or so I started to bug my TA about our stuff (I went through AAA).... about a week ago she got our stuff and wanted me to come in so she could go over everything. I picked it up Saturday and now it's on our table so it doesn't get lost in my room/desk/apartment.

If you're worried I'd say you can nicely contact your TA, I don't see anything wrong with that

We use a TA as well and we always get all of our Disney stuff about 2 weeks before the trip because they are sent to her first and then she ships them to us. Hope this helps ease your mind a little..

We're 39 days out today!
I asked my TA yesterday if paperwork should arrive next week (she's a friend) and she had it to email to her home office then they should get it out to me.

I've never booked with a TA before, we still get luggage tags and such from WDW right?

I was dreaming about shirts made for Disney last night, what will I be like at 9 days?

I also meant to say to Sheila, we're going the week after Thanksgiving this year.
On Sunday the crowd level is a 5 but the rest of the week they are listed as 1-3's so not much different from what you're used to hopefully!! I've never been when it's below a 5 or 6 (we usually go in Sept)so I'm looking forward to see what a 1 or 2 is like!

Unfortunately in 4 weeks our Disney trip will be over and I will be trying to convince hubby we need to go again ASAP

Of course 3 weeks from now we will of had breakfast at the Crystal Palace and be enjoying the rides!

I did glance at the crowd levels for this year to see how they are expected to run and noticed they dropped after the Sun, so I planned on leaving the Mon following Turkey Day. Like you I have always visited mainly at busy times so it should not be too bad just like you said.

My DD11 wore her "Happy Thanksgiving" t-shirt to school today.
I told her it was a little soon, but whatever, won't hurt to wear it. She said her teacher told her it was too soon, not yet! But she reminded her she is just too excited cause we will be in Disney for Thanksgiving and leave in less then a month so to her it's not too soon.

I was worried when we had to cancel this years trip since DH had already expressed he wanted to go back to Montana next year anyway yesterday after I called and cancelled everything, Resort, HDDR, Jet Blue, Garden Grocer,Best Friends Kennel, La Quinta(Airport) and pm the person we were shareing the Illuminations Cruise with I was feeling quite down so I started looking at dates and then priceing out various resorts for next year.
Now at the moment there are of course no discounts out there so keeping fingers crossed something will come out.
After I had a few senarios to show DH(who did not go into work yesterday, he felt sick, I think it was more he was upset too about having to cancel) I made my proposal
I told him I was leaning towards after Thanksgiving next year, explained the crowds will be a little bigger 3-5 instead of 1-2 but we will be able to do all the "Christmas" things Disney has to offer, not just some, the CP, Santas around the World, see the Resorts fully decorated etc etc etc.
We are planning to do things a bit differently this time, going the all inclusive route this time. We will try the DxDP for the first time, stay at the Beach Club and get Park Hoppers so we can try out all the Restaurants over in Epcot which we have missed and return to our favorites too. Oh did I mention we plan on booking 10 days this time?
So as soon as our Money is refunded I will call and book our Christmas 2011 Trip and I can not wait.
I was a little upset over having to lose $100 pp when I cancelled our flights but now I have a credit of almost $600, we are going to give DS & Ddil their Money back in cash and just keep their credits to use next year which should pay for our flights
I have something to look forward to and I am excited and my ticker tomorrow will read 1111

To my freinds here who also had to cancel their trips this year, I hope you can begin to focus on planning your rescheduled trip for 2011 too, it is really helping me get over not going this year.

Oh I forgot to mention, going after Thanksgiving we will miss the F & W Festival but we will also have a year to pay off our Going Deluxe all the way Trip should anymore "bad luck" comes our way

You can pay to take a pontoon (holds 10) out to see the fireworks and water parade from the boat. You can also do illuminations. The price is steep (320-350) but if you find enough people to split it with, it's reasonable. You can book one or there is a thread on the board (I will link later) where people have booked one but are looking for others to split it with them.
