We were at BWV in Jan. and were very happy with it. Our group had 5 rooms and I think they all were nice rooms. Maybe we all had the newly renovated rooms.

Thanks for letting me know. I was getting a little anxious!

WAHkoMom- I read some reviews on here and the wdwinfo site (I think). People seemed put off by the walking. But, I figure, it is either walking at Disney or walking at work, and there really is no question which has the better view-LOL!!

38 days to go, and I still haven't gotten my Mickey mail...

Allloooohhaaaa! 43 Days to go for us. 42 till we leave. I am starting to get pre-trip depression. I am weird. I get sad about my trip before I go every year. Because I know that is it fastly approaching and that I will get to go. But then it will be over just.like.that! And I won't be able to go for another year. It always makes me so sad. DH says I need therapy. LOL

Do any of you have Disneys "Sing It" for the Wii? We got it a few weeks ago and play it almost daily. LOVE IT! We have been seriously concentrating on 'Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride' for our breakfast at Ohana. The goal is to be able to sing every lyric while doing the parade. DD2 makes me do it with them. She is a bit shy. So if I go and make a fool of myself, she is all good! I am great at making a fool of myself!

I always get that too, but not yet. Usually a couple weeks ahead of time. I think it will be more intense this trip too. We go every other year and so next time we go our oldest will be in college. She may be able to fly down for a few days with us but won't be able to do the big family trip with us again (DH can't take off work during school vacatons, it is part of his job so we have to go during school. I am having a hard enough time pulling her away from 11th grade but know she won't be able to do that in college.) After 2 years of excitement and planning I know coming back to not having that is hard so I always feel that way.

Our arrival day is different this year. We always go to WCC for dinner on our arrival day but not this year because usually we get in earlier but this year to get FD we have to get there 2 days earlier so instead of getting in in the morning, we will be getting in in the afternoon and since we are driving we have to allow for weather and traffic so we decided to plan nothing just in case we get in late. So, our plan is just to sit out by the pool enjoying dinner from the food court while the kids swim, then showers and early to bed cause DD11 and DD8 have 8am haircuts at Harmony Barber Shop to donate their hair to Locks of Love, can't be late that morning!

Pretty packed ---

We are staying close the night before so we are getting kick started early.

7:00 am depart unknown hotel
8:00/30 am Check-in @ CSR (I know the room will probably not be ready, but we'll have the car so we'll leave stuff in there for now)
9:30 am Breakfast @ AKL - BOMA!
10:30/11:00 am off to DHS - My favourite park.

Here we stick around for a while - late lunch/early dinner then Fantasmic.

After Fantasmic @ 7:30 we're off to MK for the evening EMH. Also, seeing the castle is important on the first day. We're hoping the lights will be up and we'll get there in plenty of time for MSEP and Wishes.

Ok so we'll see how long we last that day as the EMH go until 1AM I'm not sure the fam is up for an 18hr day to kick it off so maybe we'll settle on 16.

I am glad to hear that we are not the only family that travels that way! In my family, the one we have to worry about is the D, though... The rest of us have no problem sleeping in the car! He is usually pretty grumpy when we get there, but we have ressies at Sci-Fi for dinner that night, so I think hanging out in the backseat for a change will improve his mood

Really, we plan to check in asap. Then off to see Harry Potter -The Movie! (if we can get in, its opening weekend!). We have dinner at Yachtsmans Steakhouse that night. If we have time, we might hit up a park too.

What do I have planned for our first day? Not exactly sure since I decided to move around my parks schedule earlier this week, as of right now our arrival day is sorta up in the air................

We will get in to MCO at 9:14am, so I figure we should be at the resort(AKL) by 10:30 now here is where it is up in the air a bit

we will either hop the bus and head to DTD for lunch at TRex and try to fit in a ride on the Charactors in Flight Balloon then head back to the resort after a lil shopping when our room is ready 3-4 pm ???

or.............have lunch at Sanaa's shop around the resort stores

If our room should be ready early(decided to do online check-in) everything may just change

I have an order from Garden Grocer do to be delivered between 3 and 5, so I hope our room is ready by then, I know bell services will hold the order but it would just be nice to get that all settled away

MVMCP that night after DH hopefully gets a quick nap, I doubt we get over to MK before 7 for the party, have ADR at LTT for 7:30

DS and Ddil are going to HDDR for the 9:30pm show

DD and DGD are sleeping over the night before our departure because we have to leave for Newark airport a little after 5 a.m. Oh fun. Hopefully we'll be checked into POFQ at around 12:30 or so, maybe our room will be ready but even if it isn't, we'll have lunch at the food court (gotta have a muffeletta and beignets on arrival day!) and then catch the bus to DHS. ADR at Sci-Fi for 6 p.m. and then Osborne Lights and then....SLEEP!

We're driving and it will be about midnight before we get there so our arrival day will involve getting in our room and going straight to bed!

We arrive at MCO around 10:30 and take ME to the YC. After checking in we will grab a quick lunch - maybe at the pool. We will then head to Epcot and try to do the behind the seeds tour before our 4:45 ADR at Garden Grille. After dinner it's off to DHS for the Osborn Lights and EMH.

I was starting to think I had too much planned for arrival day but after hearing what you all have planned I feel much better!

Yep...same here..and me and my older son can go to therapy with you. My husband thinks we are nuts....the last few days of the trip, ds14 is sooo sad..."only___more days"..on & on...he really can't enjoy the moment for worrying about it ending! I too, keep thinking...at least a year before I can be back. Or "what if this IS the last trip?" ...craaaaazy

Well..we have a reeeeeaally early flight, and if I cant get some sleep on the plane I am going to be fried! So...we will probably see if our room is ready *dont think it will be since we should be there by lunchtime*..find something to eat. If the weather is pretty warm,the kids wanna go to SAB...I am meeting Shelly and her family finally!! (At some point)...then we will probably have to feed the bottomless pits yet again, then to bed!!! Option 2-I had thought about going to DTD, but the kids don't want to get there and turn around to get back on the bus.We like some of the food places there and we loooove to walk around and start looking at the new merchandise!! Option 3-go ahead and add 1 day of park tickets and head to MK for the parade/fireworks....but we are spending the whole day there soon, so I don't know. Opt 1 works better really, because if we are just totally zonked, we can at least go hang out in the lobby till the room's ready.And of course we have BW stuff to look at...bikes to rent, all that fun stuff!

We leave Philly airport at 7:05 am, we need to wake up by 3:00 am We arrive at MCO at 10:35 am. Take ME to POR, doubt our rooms will be ready, get my mom's scooter and then we are off to HS. Not sure if we are going to eat lunch at POR or at HS. We have a ADR at Hollywood & Vine @ 4:50 pm

Hey! We may be on the same ME bus w/u!!! Our flight should be at MCO around the same time...I am hoping beyond hope, that the line at the ME counter is nowhere like it was last year! That was the longest I have EVER seen it!! Totally freaked me out!! And we did the BtS Tour last year...it was cool!! I know I couldn't do EMH that same night...but we have to leave here by 4:30 to get to the airport!!! So...add that to not sleeping due to excitement the night before and you see that I couldn't hang with it!!!

We're doing the slow roll into Disney.... Leaving our house in the middle of the night (morning?) on Friday and driving all the way to the last exit in GA. We will arrive at the Best Western LBV on Saturday (Disney property, ) and do some shopping at Downtown Disney, followed by dinner at House of Blues using a restaurant dot com certificate. Sunday, our official "arrival day", we will check into AKL bright and early to do rope drop at Epcot, followed by dinner at the Brown Derby. Whew!

We also have no set game plan. We will get in at 9am from BWI ( have to be at BWI 4 am uugghh ) check into BCV and head on over to F&W. The whole family is going , some staying off property so DH and I are getting in on Fridayso we can enjoy getting settled in and some F&W time in alone.We have tried and succeeded with a set plan with small group ( 7 ), but have tried and failed with the whole group (24) . That being send let the good times roll

Added on extra day to the front of our tripso we are coming in on Oct 29 , BCV.

Yep...same here..and me and my older son can go to therapy with you. My husband thinks we are nuts....the last few days of the trip, ds14 is sooo sad..."only___more days"..on & on...he really can't enjoy the moment for worrying about it ending! I too, keep thinking...at least a year before I can be back. Or "what if this IS the last trip?" ...craaaaazy

The last thing we do every trip is ride the Ferry from MK to the TTC. We go up top to the end where we can watch MK get smaller and smaller. We all normally get a little teary eyed, but last year DD2 sobbed.

You just reminded me that I need to practice Toy Story Mania on the Wii. Thanks!

love Love LOVE! Toy Story Mania on the Wii. However, I am actually better at the one at MGM. I am to shaky with the remotes on the Wii. DH kills us all on it. He is addicted to it!
