The NEW Official November 2010 Countdown & Planning Thread ~ Come join us! (Part 2)

Rain, rain go away.... I just asked DH what the weather is tomorrow. More rain.:sad1: I dont like Disney shopping in the rain. Reminds me to buy ponchos though.:rotfl2:

I think the rain is suppose to move out tomorrow! The weekend is looking fantastic! We were planning on hitting up the Pumpkin Festival in Milton this weekend, but the last time we went when it had been raining all week, it was a mess there. Not sure I am up to walking around in the muddy hay again.

I will be cancelling the following reservations tomorrow night, probably around midnight. They are for 4 people, except Ohana

11-9 Boma 7:45pm
11-10 Ohana 10:55am (3 people)
11-10 Via Napoli 6:20pm
11-14 Chef Mickey 6:25pm
11-17 Crystal Palace 11:35am

Wanted to give you all a heads up in case anyone was interested. DH's aunt has decided not to come to WDW with us.

I love this time of year with all the festivals. We went to the Buckwheat Festival last weekend. DS cant stop talking about 'riding train Disney' after seeing all the carnival rides. :goodvibes

My 4 yr old DD and I sat and watched youtube clips of DisneyWorld for about and hour yesterday! :rotfl: She was loving it. I wanted to show her Thunder Mtn RR and she was so excited! Yay! So, we just kept searching and watched Splash Mtn, B&B show, TT, Soarin and several meet and greets. She doesn't remember her last trip, she was 2, so it is fun fun fun to hear the anticipation when she says "I want to do that! Can we go there too?" and I get to say "Yes!"
I can tell my tears of joy are going to be falling on this trip! Ha Ha!

I cannot keep up with you people. Every time I check the thread I've got 4 pages to read!! :hyper:

I would need at least 3 tents to camp. One would be for all the clothes and supplies that I bring. Another for a family room, and then one to sleep in. I haven't gone camping in more than 25 years unless you consider a EconoLodge Camping.... I do!! :lmao:

LOL :rotfl2: Well we have a three room tent, so technically our tent would be just what you need :lmao: Believe it or not we actually enjoy camping with the kids. There is no tv and such so it ensures we all spend some quality time together. My kids are growing so quick I will take every opportunity I can get to build memories and enjoy them while they are still young.

Exactly one month from now, :cool1::cool1::cool1:, we will have been on the road for at least an hour and will only be 3-4 hours away from Disney!!!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

This thread is great!!! I love seeing were everyone staying, eating.... you've done a great job!! We are at BC 10/28 then move over to AKL 10/29-11/1 (doing sunrise safari on 10/31) Check into GF 11/1-11/14 (MNSSHP 11/1) and finish it up at the Poly 11/14-11/20!!

You get to be there almost a month!? I am so jealous!!! ;) That sounds like an awesome trip and I hope you all have a wonderful time. And congrats on your upcoming anniversary.

(Wonder if I will be able to notice the extra gray hair I have this year ;):rotfl:)

We leave 6 weeks from today!!!

I was just able to book a regualr dinner at WCC this morning. I had booked for Thanksgiving dinner but we just want the regular menu and not pay more for the holiday either so I have been trying to get an ADR for earlier in the week. Well I got it this morning, so I am excited about that. Usually I make our ADRs at 180 days and not touch them at all, but this time paying OOP for our few TS meals are making me be more picky. So we will decide for Thanksgiving dinner when we get tehre, if we feel like going out we will go to WPE and if not we will walk over to ASMu and have dinner there and watch the movie at the pool.

We had a mouse in the house yesterday. I have a huge fear of mice (though everyone reminds me Mickey and Minnie are mice, they don't count!) So I spent the day baracaded in my bedroom. I got a lot done though including lots of packing (out of season stuff is stored in our room.) I got all the matching Disney shirts pulled out and went though the shorts for the kids to see what fits who. Thankfully DH caught the mouse so I can relax at least a little bit (hoping he had no friends.) :scared1:

I didn't know about the second launch, but I did find out about the first launch after I booked a room on the beach just north of Daytona for the 1st. So I am very excited to hopefully get to see a launch. We are doing our drive down over two nights, first night I hope to stop in the Florence (NC or SC, can't remember) area and then stop the next night at Ormond Beach leaving our drive on Tuesday morning to POFQ at about 90 minutes. I asked at the hotel in Ormond Beach if they see the shuttle launches and she said, "Bring your video camera, it is one of the most amazing things you will ever see." I am excited about this little extra for our vacation.

That is a bonus! I am excited too , we go every few months to the World (business usually) and I always check the KSC site for launches and never has there been one. This time our bonus is the DH whole family will be there , it will be a great surprise for them. DH wants me to keep it a secret:eek:from them. When I am excited that is very hard. DMiL was one the phone chatting about the weather and I almost told her:scared1:caught my self mid "OH , guess wha..." with a pause and " oh snap for got what I was going to say" . She said I should think about using some Ginko.:rotfl2:

Y'all are making me home sick! I was born and raised in WV. Moved about 17 yrs ago. Miss it so much! We only make is back in the winter(married an IL farmer). Now that I think about it, my 2 youngest have never been!:scared1: I need to get them out there. We grow 24 acres of pumpkins and have our own fall fest, but I LOVED:lovestruc the Pumpkin and Buckwheat festivals!
