48 pages, are you kidding me?!??!?!?!?! I'm SO outta the loop! Life is crazy-busy right now, so I don't suppose I'll be on here a whole lot before our trip. BUT I did empty out my PM box a bit, so I can accept Turkey head orders again

Also---has anyone seen any good flight deals around 11/18? DH JUST said tonight, "Wonder if we should just fly since it's so hectic to drive & might not cost tooooo much more." Hmmmmmm.....as if I'm not getting stressed out enough about the upcoming trip?!?!?!

I was going to PM you today!! I haven't seen you and wondered where you were!!! I am sorry for you about the mouse!! I had a teeny tiny one in my sink in the kitchen last year and I begged Mike to come home and get it....of course, he did....but I was freaked out for the rest of the day.....weiiiird seeing that little thing in your HOUSE!... Yes..just go to continental and take whatever flight is available!!! YOU MUST FLY!! We can't drive from here girl!! It's tooooo far!!!!
Well...I got Mike and the kids last night to sit down and look over our plans. I usually plan everything and they are happy with that!! They tell me some must-dos and I plan it in...but for some reason, this year, I can't get it just like I want it.Anyway, I need to switch two ADRs around and replan one morning..hopefully this will be the END of being undecisive. Geez...I don't know what's going on this time. I have NEVER had this much trouble!! I know for sure that I want to do the MSEP on the Wed night it's available...I might try to squeeze it in on the Sat night before we leave too...but I am afraid it's gonna be reeeeeaaally busy at MK that Sat...with more people coming in for Thanksgiving week...so Wed might be the best bet.
They did all agree to skip AK this time. I had already figured that in the plan, but one of the kids said they wanted to go, but last night DH was like uhhh no.. don't even want to go over there again this time. Which is fine with me... I might do it every other trip,and we did go the last few times. I know some people just love it, but we don't do enough there to warrant the travel time.Especially when we have other things we want to fit in....I hate that I am not gonna see Wendy's daughter...maybe she will be on a day off and I can see her somewhere else!!!
Hopefully after I get things nailed down today, I will have time to see what toiletries and snax I need to get. I too, feel very unorganized this year.
DS11 has the sinus stuff now. Fever, nose is crazy--stopped up & runny!! How does that happen anyway?!! LOL..his little nose is red and chapped already--this just started yesterday..he's uncomfortable and worn out. So...I will be nursing him along for school today!! I think we won't get too much done!! But...our weather is wonderful!So..we can hang around on the porch finally to do !!!!!
I am so pumped reading all of your countdown #s and feeling all of the excitement!!!! Waiting on ME papers...

We leave 6 weeks from today!!!

I was just able to book a regualr dinner at WCC this morning. I had booked for Thanksgiving dinner but we just want the regular menu and not pay more for the holiday either so I have been trying to get an ADR for earlier in the week. Well I got it this morning, so I am excited about that. Usually I make our ADRs at 180 days and not touch them at all, but this time paying OOP for our few TS meals are making me be more picky. So we will decide for Thanksgiving dinner when we get tehre, if we feel like going out we will go to WPE and if not we will walk over to ASMu and have dinner there and watch the movie at the pool.

We had a mouse in the house yesterday. I have a huge fear of mice (though everyone reminds me Mickey and Minnie are mice, they don't count!) So I spent the day baracaded in my bedroom. I got a lot done though including lots of packing (out of season stuff is stored in our room.) I got all the matching Disney shirts pulled out and went though the shorts for the kids to see what fits who. Thankfully DH caught the mouse so I can relax at least a little bit (hoping he had no friends.)

Hi! Not sure if you realize this, but the hoiday surcharges at restaurants don't apply just on the actual holiday, but several days surrounding it. I found this out the hard way at Thaknsgiving last year! I am not sure if you were reffering to a special meal at WCC or the normal "holiday surcharge" like they do at character meals, ect. That upcahrge applied wed- sun of thanksgiving week last year at least.

I am so excited we are only 27 days away. Still waiting for our travel docs. Yesterday, I found out my professor is not my professor anymore, due to health reasons. So, I got a new professor and now I have another paper due, about 1 week after coming home This new paper is about creating some kind of art project and then writing a paper about it. I don't know about you, but I do not have any artistic ability in me. I ask her if I could draw a cartoon character and told her about the Donald Duck that I drew last year at the Animation Studios & she said yes. I am so happy, so when we go to HS, we are going to be drawing a Disney character and when I get home, I'll write my report.

Also, yesterday I took my DS to the orthodontist and she said that in 1 month, he can get his expander out. So, I had to get my kids away from the counter and book the appointment the day before we leave. He is very excited and should be getting his 8 braces off before Christmas The problem that I have now, is I have class that day until 10:40 am, then I have to pick up my dog and drive her to my sister's house, who is 1 hr & 15 mins away, then drive to my DS school and pick him up at 1:45 pm for his 2 pm appt, then go to work at 3 pm and work until 9 pm. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have to pack and that I have a midterm and a paper due the Thursday before we leave.

Am I insane or what???? Thanks for listening to me vent.

For anyone looking for EarPlanes (adult size), I just bought them at Walmart for under $4.00.

that is awesome! I have managed to sang just about everything we wanted by stalking for cancellations. We booked 3 1/2 months out and I was able to get some ADRS at that point, but not much of what I wanted. I have gotten Le Cellier, Ohana, Coral Reef, and a Brown Derby Fantasmic package by checking/calling multiple times a day. The only two things I haven't gotten are an earlier BBB appointment (we have one at 12:25) or CRT. I am really happy with what i have been able to get though, and if I cannot get these 2 it won't be the end of the world!

For one of my kids "disney gifts" for their countdown I ordered notepads for them and they came today. They came out so cute! I will try to post a pic, but they came from artscow and were one of their specials for 1.99 w/ free shipping. My DS12 I put a little pic with him holding 1 of the lizards he caught last year and it says his name and "Expert lizard catcher" under. My DS6 has a pic of him at Jedi training and it says his name and "Jedi in training" under. They look great!

Just checking in to say hello! I "volunteered" to be a Daisy Girl Scout Troop Leader (since no one else would! ) and that's been keeping me busy.

I haven't even had a chance to review schedule and ADRs and park times so I guess whatever we picked we're getting. We're only in the park 3 days so it's not like we have a lot to do anyway.

Has anyone noticed if any of the park times/parades/fireworks or F! changed since about a month ago?

We are also booked with our DVC membership. This is our first trip "Home" to BLT. I love DVC, it makes us take a vacation! We are also going to be on our incentive cruise that we got for joining. I love having a kitchen and a washer & dryer!
I just found out a bunch of us our going for another Grand Gathering Jan of 2012!! There are 3 of us who are DVC members and last time we got 17 of us all booked in 5 rooms at BWV, all with our points. Right now 24of us our going. My one sil is not sure because her 5 yr son has peanut, dairy and egg allergies. I told her it was perfect because we will have kitchens! Still working on her.

Yes, I do realize that but thank you. We will actually be eating there the Friday before Thanksgiving and it will be the regular meal whcih is what we want. I probably should have said it more clearly, but we are good (for that meal anyway.)
