Well I see I have a lot of catching up to do!! :goodvibes I hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to see what everyone has been up to the last several days!

Hello all! Well..we had a lazy weekend! It was great! After church/lunch...had some down time...crazy how we needed it even tho we didnt do anything Sat either, really!! Then Mike took the kids dirtbike riding...I worked on my park plans and rearranged some ADRs!! I am much happier with the plan and actually have one day with nothing scheduled!!! May do parades/fireworks that evening....I usually schedule a day for pool/laundry...so that's in there, but this other day I wanted open for a park that we could revisit if we really wanted to and not be tied to an ADR...we will just decide that day and see what is available! Hope you all have a great week!!

Yea for 2's :banana::woohoo::banana::woohoo:

I hit double digits this week! :cool1: I have been reading the dining reviews here and I am debating changing my Yachtmans Steakhouse for California Grill or Flying Fish. I dunno? YS seem to have mixed reviews anymore. :confused3

Today, I am going back to the dr to see what they are going to do with me. My incision still hasn't properly healed. I have had alot of surgeries in my life, but never had this much trouble before. Hopefully I am allowed to go back to my normal everyday activities! But I have a feeling I won't be.... I knew the surgery itself went wayyyy to easy.

Yay Shelly~~~ 2 months looks a lot better, doesn't it?! And yeah...your slider did seem to stick to that lighthouse!! I am just anxious for my Alice to get over the bridge!!!!! LOL

Yes - 2 looks much better than 3! :cool1: I thought that slider would never get off of that lighthouse! :upsidedow

Whew. I feel SO much better now! A week or so ago I checked our flights at Continental and the price for the 4 of us had dropped $80 from when I booked in mid-July. I just checked again (yeah, I know I shouldn't, but I did anyway) this afternoon and if I had waited to buy the tickets they would have cost $140 more. So now I'm not annoyed with myself after all.

I thought I told you to stop looking at those!!!! :rotfl:

You'll be there soon.... :banana::banana::cool1::cool1::woohoo::yay:

:dancer: Shelly help...he escaped again!!!!!:rotfl:

PUT HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

:scared1:

:upsidedow

:faint:

:rotfl2:

:cool1: 3 months today!! :cool1:

Happy Monday everybody! I should be doing housework :laundy:, but instead I'm continuing to live vicariously through the Dis! The time can't pass quickly enough!:jumping2:

I read reviews when I come across them but I did let a few bad reviews for Mama Melrose influence me this trip and decided on 50's Prime Time instead for our DHS day, of course Ddil loves PT so I had to make her happy

Good luck at the Dr's today !

Any excuse is a good one to put off housework .............DIS and a cup of coffee make for a nice break

Took the dog out a lil bit ago and the humidity is back................UGHHHHHHH

Just happened upon a thread here on the DIS mentioning easywdw.com, it is an interesting site, the calendar combines, crowd levels, weather parks to avoid etc - being all on one is a nice feature

If your interested in checking it out here is the link :)

Interesting. I had never seen that one before.

It's always funny to me that every site says January is the slowest time of the year at WDW. In our experience, May and November were way less busy than our January trip.

But this site does pick our week for the best one in November!! :thumbsup2

I agree that I a nice feature of all the data in one spot...

I wonder how the worst/best and crowd levels compare to touringplans and TGM?

I printed off a sheet to look at...if you print it as landscape and adjust the margins a bit you can fit it all...

and yes Happy Monday to all....

I have yet to do any house things too....and now it's noon  oh well I'm still under the weather...

2 days driving from VA - how luxurious! DH, crazy lunatic that he is, normally makes us drive it in one from NJ:eek:! Last trip, I managed to get him to stop at the very LAST exit in GA, Kingsland. We'll be stopping there again this time, at the Microtel which was very nice. To him, this is a compromise :confused3 :rotfl: Yup, 898 miles travelled on day one is a compromise....sigh.:rolleyes1

Wow, I don't know how you do that! Does DH do all/most of the driving?

We are NOT long-distance drivers and we hate getting up early and keeping the 1 year old entertained is hard! The 5yr old has a Leapster and DVD player so that eats up a lot of time.

We are looking at approx 440 miles a day. In July we did it in 3 days leaving Friday night and arriving Sunday afternoon ... it was very relaxed but this time we're going to try it in 2 days to get there quicker.

He does do most of the driving, however, I will take one "fill-up to fill-up" stretch to give him a break (and because I insist). With kids I completely understand taking a more leisurely pace....on two trips, I have flown with my son while DH drives down with all the luggage:cool1:. He really hates to fly!;)

Years ago we use to drive from CT aprox 1200 miles doing it in two days, we would stop in Lumberton North Carolina overnight and get to Disney late afternoon the second day.
We would probally still be driving but on our last trip we had blinding rain all the way down and all the way back to Ct. It was so bad we had to pull over and get off the highway in Jacksonville and I was in tears, sure we were going to die , coming back we had to pull off the highway again and I swore I would never drive again.

I do not envy you guys in the least.

Lets just keep our fingers crossed they are right

How exciting! We'll be at the AKV from Nov.13th-20th. It's fun to see so many people that will be in the same place as us at the same time. I hope everyone has a great trip!!!!!:yay:

Wow, you were very brave to drive that far! You must have hit some torrential rain...was it around a hurricane that came in-land?

I honestly don't recall what time of the year it was, I know in the early years we visited during Easter break so I think it was probally March or April but until I became so terrified on that trip of driving, I was afraid to fly, once we flew I never looked back, although my DS and Ddil who are vacationing with us this trip did mention driving down, I think I asked them if they were crazy :rotfl:
