wow! I just checked and its not.. I never realized that! That's good to know.. :thumbsup2 but it doesn't have wishes on the nights of the MVMCP when we are there.. thats all

On the nights of MCMCP, they have the holiday fireworks at 9:30pm....so if you schedule a late dinner at one of the resorts you can see them;). We have a 9:10 ressie at California Grill on one of the MVMCP nights, :thumbsup2.

mousescrapper -- I'm a Crocs gal too. Last November I wore my crocs w/o socks during the day but at night I wore socks when I switched to pants. I'm not really a socks + Crocs + shorts type of gal, but would do if I had to!

yeah I wouldn't do that either...around the yard doing yardwork I wear my dirty caymans w/ low cut socks...and I have the winter crocs..of course I wear w/ pants...those are the ones I'm thinking of bringing for nights...and just keep my open toe ones for most of the day...besides cute painted toes in Nov...is just so fun!

I like the idea of those pants that can zip off to shorts. That sounds perfect for November.

I'll be on the hunt!

I definitely need a stroller to keep all the clothes and diapers and snacks...not sure how we'd do it w/o one!

yes this yr we will still have a stroller for Naomi-Ruth...but it will be way smaller than we have ever used before in the parks...I'm a bit nervous :confused3 I'll to do a test packing dry run...

I do too! Good grief, nearly every kid we know needs braces. I mean, I think it is a good thing and a nice smile is awesome, but at the same time I find it hard to believe all these kids NEED braces. When I was in school (many, many years ago) braces were rare.

one of my twins is in braces...it's a small fortune for sure...and this is just phrase 1...I never had braces as a kid...I think it was luck for me, only a few minor crooked ones...DH did though and both of my siblings...

seriously it should be covered by insurance

are you guys doing park hoppers??

We are. Although I am sure we could do without them. Since we have never been at Thanksgiving and have heard different opinions on the crowd level we felt it was better safe then sorry.

DisneyBoundinDec...we have them this trip again...but have done w/out them...like Px4 our feeling was going Thanksgiving week and predicted very high crowds....it would be to our advantage...we won't hop every day...I have built hopping into our daily plans for about 4 of 7 planned park days...

it was hard for me to justify the cost as well...but w/ both DH & I having AP's this yr...it sorta made sense for our kids to have them too.

Touring w/out hopping is doable and I think it really depends on your style and the ages/temperment of your children.

we have done it both ways...and sometimes I like just going to one park...tour almost all day and then call it a day and swim at the resort...

if you only think you'd do it one time...I wouldn't pay the extra $

see.. thats the thing.. we are going the second week of November when crowds "should" be light so I only planned on one park a day.. plus the parks close at 7 or 8 anyway so its not like we are going to be out late.. its really just for one day.. I was thinking of hitting epcot in the morning and then hs in the evening for F!, but like you said.. is it REALLY worth the $200 to really only go ride soaring and test track again.. we will have already spent a full day at Epcot, and honestly on a non busy day will probably be enough for my 2 boys.. (7 & 3).. I think we'll just go to HS that day and not get the hoppers.. I'll play it by ear.. :thumbsup2

I know this waiting is killing me. Everything is paid for, ADRs are done -except trying to change Tutto to Coral Reef. Special events taken care of. Now if Nov would just hurry up! Can anyone else tell I am a tad impatient? :rolleyes1

If you can't get it sooner try at the 44 day mark. Many pkgs. are cancelled that aren't paid in full, along with their dining reservations.

Just wanted to say Good Morning fellow November travelers... off to make my golf reservations....

I didn't think they cancelled your ADRs when your package was cancelled? I thought you had to cancel those yourself. That way people who may still be come but decide not to stay on property still get to keep their ADRs?

I am hoping when people begin booking their Candlelight Processionals on the 26th, that they will cancel their other ADRs. Maybe I can snag one then! I may even try for a CP package. We have never been to the CP before. And I love Isabella Rossellini! Who knows... It is for one of our free days at the end of the week. I was waiting to see when the Santas were going to start to make it a definite Epcot day. Right now, the Santas have no start date. Hum???

If the Santas are the same as the storytellers the start date is November 26th.

To save money we didn't get park hoppers either. But we changed our vaca style completely when we purchased DVC a few years ago.

We now schedule our vacations two times in 365 days with an Annual Pass. This works best for us so we have all the flexibility to go into a park for just 2-3 hours or park hop or stay all day. I like it soooo much better now -- we can actually get into a park on the days we arrive and leave without feeling like we wasted the whole day's ticket, too.

Marsha, we are also DVC members and we do the AP thing too. This year we're going in November, then next year, we'll go in October or early November, so we get two trips out of the same APs! It really is a bargain! :thumbsup2

This year, we're also going to buy a TIW card so we can save 20% on all dining and beverage purchases. Every place I made ADRs for takes TIW.

Does anyone know if the vendors at F&W accept TIW? Drinking around the world could be 20% less if they do :woohoo:

sounds like a good plan to me....I'd go w/ non hoppers during light weeks too....

you are correct...I had asked about this awhile back when I made all our ADR's....back in May we wanted to book a CLP dinner pkg...but couldn't yet...so then we booked 2 reg single dining credits meals in case we couldn't get the CLP time we wanted...we have since changed out minds...but I know if I didn't book a pkg it would be up to me to cancel the other ressie I didn't want.

pretty sure the Santas/Holiday storytellers is part of the general Holiday start up in the World and that all begins the 26th of Nov....

we are planning on doing the tour of WS and catch as many as we can on the 27th....

here is a link to an AllEars article about it and a peek at a previous guide

are you guys doing park hoppers?? I originally didn't plan on it.. but now there is ONE day that I think we would like to hop... do epcot in the morning and HS in the evening to catch fantasmic.. we will have already done one full day at both parks..so I thought it would be nice to hop.. hmmmm.. is it worth the close to $200 to upgrade to hoppers??? but I guess then if we wanted to we could hop more often during the week if we wanted to...

wtd.. are you buying park hopping tickets?

We do get PHs and we looove them!! But, we like going over to the WS for dinner in a different country most nights of our trip. Also, we are at the BC and its convenient to come in during the afternoon, rest up and walk over there.....works for us! when we first took trips we didn't buy any...now we just feel for us they are worth it!
pixiedust:party::jumping1: 3 MONTHS!!! :jumping1:party:pixiedust:

YAY!!!!:dance3::dance3::yay::yay::cheer2::cheer2:

We've never done the park hopper option, not in September and we won't for November either.

Park hoppers work for us also. We generally go to a park in the am break around 2 then back in some where for dinner and night time activities. To us the evening is time to be laid back and relax at the parks. :)

Depending on the trip we sometimes do park hoppers... if we are there for a longer trip... like 8 days or more we usually do the park hopers because we can go to one park in the morning then another for dinner... but if we are there only a week then we just do one park each day....

We just purchased the TIW card for the 1st time on our July trip and it worked great for us. We were a party of 10 so in one meal at Rose & Crown we had netted back over 1/2 the cost! In just two other meals for our family of 4, it paid for itself. However, it was not accepted at Teppan Edo. That was the one place we had to pay full price -- couldn't use AP or DVC or TIW discount.

Enjoy!

Canceled Tutto Italia today and jumped on the Via Napoli bandwagon. It looks much more appealing anyways. I will probably keep trying for a Coral Reef, but if not Via Napoli will be just fine.

Yippee! A free dining pin magically appeared in my mailbox 2 days ago. Wow, what a difference that makes for 5 people!:cheer2: I'm more excited than ever!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

3 Months from today I will be headed to WDW !
