Hello! Today we just added a quick, last minute trip since I found out schools are out in our area the entire week of Thanksgiving.

November 21-24 @ SSR

The trip will be DH, myself and our two girls (5 and 1). This is approx my 30th trip and we have ressies for Kona (23rd) and Liberty Tree Tavern (22nd). Main goal is to see Osbourne and Castle lights again.

We are driving down from Virginia and taking the Autotrain back.

Marsha so cool we MUST try and do a quick Dismeet....I have to come by and read all about the July trip...I saw you started a TR...stop by my PTR and we sould confer plans...to see if something would work out

plus I'm intigued now by this magazine... I loved the Disney magazine, my Mom used to get it and give me the ones she read, I know I still have a few saved...plus my son loved reading the Adventur's little mag too he still has all his back issues...and we have recieved previous subscriptions to Disney and Me mag and the Princess mag too...they are very cute!

I am also a fan of Family Fun...but now basically just get all the emails...I love all the fun ideas for crafts, family time and food

Oh, I'm so behind on your TR -- but that's right...you are going in November. I'll be on your TR later today...a dismeet would be great...but since we only have 3 days we are just doing MK and HS but hopefully one of our days will overlap.

Just booked for November 13-19 at Port Orleans Riverside! We stayed here on our first trip in 2000 when it was Dixie Landings! That was our once in a lifetime trip...and the mouse hooked us and we are making our 20th. trip in November! We thought it would be fun to stay where it all began for us and the mouse. We have not stayed here since 2000! We bought into DVC so it's been the Boardwalk for us.

We took our trip in 2000 with our 3 little girls at the time.. now we have 2 more kiddos another girl and a boy!

Looking foward to counting down with everyone!

Trust me we are done with the 5 we have!

I made some of my ADR's yesterday and today. I got everything I wanted except Le Cellier at Epcot. I landed Chef Mickey's today! I am excited about going back. I have not told the kiddos yet. I am thinking about surprising them since DD20 will be joining us from college and so far she is the only one that knows well besides DH.

Wow! That is definitely not a souvenier that I need to bring home. Youngest is in 1st grade this year and I can finally leave the 2 home for short errands, etc. (oldest is almost 12).
Is there nothing available at DVC sites for Thanksgiving? Needed to add 2 rooms for in laws and SIL and family. I've used all of my points for this year, but I was thinking of trying to rent some (it ends up being about 1/2 the cost on the DVC properties). We will be at SSR. I konw I also won't be able to change Liberty Tree reservation to accomodate 12 instead of 4!

ADDED ANOTHER DAY TO OUR TRIP!!!

I was never happy with our late Saturday night flight home, so I changed it to Sunday!! AirTran changed our flight with no charge and WDW honored the 40% off pin I booked with 7 months ago for the extra night!

Wooooo Hoooooo ! That is fabulous, Good to hear the pin still was good. I still wish I had been able to keep our extra day but the fares to fly back on sunday were just too much, unless we took the early one and I could not see me boarding ME at 5am

We will have to board ME in the morning, but not until about 8:00 or so probably. So I can manage that!!

8am is not bad since RAC opens at 5am so you can still get your boarding passes and check your luggage at the resort, if we took the early flight on Sun to save $, roughly $100 pp we have to drag our own luggage on the ME. Disney has spoiled me with the RAC system

I do not care for flying in the dark have only done it once on the red-eye from LA to Ct but to maximize our Disney time we are doing it in November

We have had super early flights home in the past and it is not pleasant getting on ME at 5 or 6 in the morning in the dark.

Hopefully 8 won't be too bad. I am just happy to now have a full day on Saturday!

Just made my ressies today -- November 27-Dec 3

Taking the Autotrain for the first time! Can't wait!

I looked at your May 2007 photoalbum on shutterfly! I LOVE it. It was small on the screen, even when I put it in full screen mode, so I couldn't read the words on the page. But it looks fantastic. I want to do an album like that too! Maybe for my Aug. trip. My trouble is I always have stuff to stick in the album that isn't a digital pic. Scap stuff.

There are so many "Triggers" talking on the phone as you mentioned, getting in the car, sitting at the computer, they are have you wanting to reach for that smoke , my worst was the coffee, I use to drink coffee all day long

I never smoked, but my father did. He had been smoke free for almost 20 years when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He passed away 12 years ago. It makes me sad for all the time he missed with my kids and the littlest one that he never met. That's why I'm so proud of you all for quitting. As for what to do with your hands. Legos? I had a friend in high school who always had to fiddle with something in his hands. He used to sit there and click my bamboo handbag handles together at the lunch table. I bought him Legos (when he was 25). He was happy. Maybe you can crochet or knit. Draw perhaps.

Hey Mousescrapper. Marsha and I are both staying at the same time at Saratoga Springs. Where are you? are you POR? that's near SSR by boat. I'd love to join a DISmeet. We park hop, so I'm flexible.
