After talking to DH we have decided not to do ADRs. I was thinking of only doing TS for lunch anyway. Now any advice I could get on everyones favortie QS at each of the 4 parks would be so helpful. popcorn::
I know what is going to happen when we get down there. He will want to do a TS, and we won't be able to get in anywhere. He thinks I'm over-planning this, so I'm just going to let it go and hope for the best. I think if I can get ideas for some good QS I will feel better. Maybe I am over-planning? :confused3

I saw this somewhere else, but thought it would be a good question of the day here as well.

What is your favorite water based ride?

For us it would Pirates of the Caribbean.

Our favorite QS on the last trip was Flame Tree BBQ in AK. (But we really like BBQ so that might sway our preference a little) I've heard Columbia House in MK is really good. This is on our list for the upcoming trip. As far as Epcot goes, you could eat a little bit all around the Worlds and be happy!

We like the La Cantina outside of Mexico. Also the Boulangerie Patisserie in France is a favorite of mine.

were getting the CS plan but we did make one reservation for thanksgiving dinner at ohana at 5:40

We received 40% pin code for Nov. Looking at dates 11/13-11/20. Waiting for Southwest to release flights. Should be by June 15. How is the weather that week? Attending MVMCP and staying at POP. Would my DS be able to swim?

I need to be convinced to go for it!

QOTD: I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I'd actually say Mexico! Though I have not been there since the change from El Rio de Tiempo to the Three Caballeros Gran Fiesta Tour.

Re: yesterday's discussion of Via Napoli, I as well recalled reading that it would be a QS location. Here's a brief article backing that up:

Via Napoli Article

I'm hoping that turns out to be correct! We're eating in Norway on our arrival day, but on our full day in Epcot we have no TS reservations, so we'll be looking for some good counter service.

I was at the beach for the long weekend and you guys added 5 pages.
My favorite CS is earl of sandwich, if you go to DTD.
We have gone twice in Nov. and my kids have been able to swim a couple of days. They heat the pools to where the water is warmer than the air, they just don't want to get out because then they are cold.
I am somewhat new to this and you guys are my favorite thread and I was wondering if we will just continue on this thread when we get back from our trips or start a new one. It would be so fun to have some great discussions after we all get back, to keep the Magic alive a while longer (who's up for making sure we all know where to find eachother after?)

Well, I have tentatively been given the go ahead to attend an annual conference the 1st week of November at CSR:banana: So hopefully we can get our DD out of 1st grade for that week and make it a business/vacation time like the past couple of years:)
As for CS in MK, our DD always has to go to Cosmic Rays, on the plus side we also like it. They have a very good selection and the chicken dinner is enough food for both DW and DD.

PC locked up in middle of this post, reposted below.

Hi all,

Planning our honeymoon for beginning of November now at POR. This will be my 4th time down to the park and my DFi's 2nd, all of the previous were at value resorts, so we're excited for POR. Got our ADR's (Premium Dining Plan) all set...see below for a listing. Taking full advantage of the premium plan with two rounds of golf (hoping it's not too crowded due to the PGA tournament happening down there...), Cirque tickets, carriage ride, bike rental, mini-golf...not to mention the ridiculous amount of food we will be consuming. We even have a day of Universal Studios planned. Let me know if you have any ideas for a honeymoon, our restaurants or just to make it a great vacation!

Breakfast:
1900 Park Fare
Boma
Donald's Safari Breakfast

Lunches:
50's Primetime Cafe
Sand Trap Grill
Rose and Crown Pub
Trail's End Buffet
Rainforest Cafe (DD)

Dinners:
Citrico's
Spirit of Aloha
Teppan Edo
Fulton's Crab House
Cinderella's Royal Table
Cap'n Jack's
Victoria and Albert's
Mama Melrose

:welcome: to the DIS and to our November group!! That's quite a dining line up you have there! :thumbsup2

We swam last November! :goodvibes It was around 78-80 most of the week.

Thank you!! :) That must have been what I read. I knew I read somewhere it was going to be CS. Now I guess we'll just have to wait and see. . .

Well I'm glad to hear that we are your favorite thread!! :grouphug:

Yes, we can definitely keep the thread going after our trips. We will just probably move it over to the Community boards, since we won't technically be a Countdown thread anymore. We can talk about our trips and post links to our TR's and keep the magic going!! :cool1:

At AK we seem to eat at Pizzafari(sp) more then any of the other AK places. Epcot has a lot of good CS places and one of our favs is Sunshine Seasons in the Land. Earl of Sandwiches is also on the top of our list for CS meals.

:welcome: everyone!!

Originally, I wanted to do a fireworks cruise again - either Wishes or Pirate & Pal, but look at this -

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2477237

I think we might just go beach hopping to the GF & Poly or gaze in wonder from the Contemporary! DS loves the fireworks, but hates the noise. Cheaper too!

If you can the Pirates & Pal is great. We did it in April and it was worth every penny. DH was a little sticker shock at first at the price ($180 for 2A/2C) but he even admitted it was worth it. The fireworks are off in the distance so the noise is not loud at all but DS4 still covered his ears.
