I had not even thought about the HINI virus before it being mentioned :scared1:

Joining the November thread :goodvibes I got the monster mailer today so I changed my dates and will be there Nov 28 - Dec 4th :cool1: 40% off POR! So excited :yay:

About H1N1.. four of us got it last year  so we have an immunity. The dr. said DH and DD are immune to it too if they lived with all four of us and never had a problem. I usually don't do flu shots but I may this year. Having the flu stinks enough but having it ruin your vacation... well that would be terrible :sad1:

Yes, it was a major concern for everyone traveling last fall. I was paranoid!! :scared1:

:welcome: That monster PIN is so awesome!! I didn't get it. But I did get the 20% off values, 30% off moderates, and 40% off deluxes PIN awhile back and took advantage of it and booked a deluxe for the first time! :goodvibes Getting 40% off a value or moderate would be such an awesome deal though!

Wow 4 of you with H1N1. That must have been rough. Hopefully you are all immune then and will be healthy this fall!

My son and mom got H1N1 last year while we were on the DCL cruise to the western Caribbean. My son didn't show symptoms until the very last night, but was miserable driving home. My mom showed symptoms during the next week. They didn't have a horrible case of it, but my dh, dd, and I lived with both of them for that week - and drove 8 hours home cooped up in a SUV with them both - so I'm guessing we're immune, too.

I got the Monster PIN, and I thought about changing my dates. I don't want to have to deal with changing my ADRs, though....

G'Mornin' Everyone! Its been pretty quite here this week? I guess everyone has been crazy busy like me, huh? I feel like my legs may fall off at any moment. I have been falling asleep within seconds of my head hitting the pillow the past few nights. And that is saying alot for me!

I am not sure if there has been a QOTD the past few days. But I thought of one of my favorites questions that always get asked. So here ya go....

Question Of The Day:
If you were to get stuck in one ride all day, what would it be?

My answer is TTA! And I would want to get stuck in the part where you go threw Space Mountain. The music, the shooting stars, the cool air. I have often said if I could re-create that area in my room I would never get out of bed.

Answer to QOTD:

I can tell you what ride I would NOT want to be stuck in...Mission Space! I don't like that enclosed feeling!
We were stuck for maybe 5 minutes on POTC once, and that got old.
I think Toy Story Mania might be fun to get stuck in, then you could just keep playing games!

Good question!! My oldest daughter would agree with you on it being the TTA. She absolutely loves that ride, luckily for her so do her siblings so we tend to ride it several times a trip. For me if would have to be, POTC. There is just so much to see and so many details that I know I haven't noticed yet, even though I have probably rode it a hundred times. Or the haunted mansion, same reason. :)

We got stuck in Toy Story for a bit this last trip but I can't remember if we were able to keep playing or not. I think we could but it did not accumulate any points for us.

As long as the ride was moving:lmao:. I was on Loch Ness when it got stuck on the steep hill. Three hours later we had to walk down.:scared1: I could be stuck on Buzz Lightyear SS. I LOVE that ride. Doesnt hurt that I can beat the pants off DH :rotfl2:.

 Great question!!

Boy, I don't know. . . I can tell you what we have been stuck on:
TTA
Buzzlightyear - several times
Test Track - in the robot room for like 20 minutes!
Maelstrom

It might be fun to be stuck on POTC for a bit! pirate:

I beat the pants off everyone in my family :rotfl: It particularly drives my oldest son Josh crazy, because on most of our Wii games he can beat me, but on this ride he doesn't seem to have a chance. :rotfl2:

I can not think of any ride I would want to be stuck in, we were stuck once in space mt and I was afraid we would have to end up walking out but they did get it going again, maybe the jungle cruise as long as it was not a hot humid day, I just would not like being stuck "inside" someplace.

Not sure if anyone has ADR's for Kouzzina at BW but I found this review in todays issue of the Disney Food Blog to be good, if anyone is interested here is the link.

We were stuck on Mission Space on our last trip. It was horrible. I started crying. I somehow managed to control my breathing and not freak out. It was me, DD and a man and his son. I didn't want to flip out the little boy. It took 15 min for them to get us going once they shut us in. I just reminding myself that if I needed out bad enough, I could get their attention and get out... And that if I did do that, than everyone would be stuck waiting while they re-set everything. I actually love the ride itself, its just being shut in. It took alot of will power on my part, but I somehow came out sane. Its really sad when my 9 year old at the time had to hold my hand and tell me its almost over! LOL

I have had two rides break down and would rather it never happen again. The first was Haunted Mansion. Not that I would mind, but we were with friends and it took us alot of conviencing to get their little boy on in the first place... and what happens? We break down in the graveyard scene. Right beside a popup head! He screamed for 20 min!

The other was IASW, right under the dolls on the highwire in the One World room. There is just something about sitting in that ride for anytime, you start to think the dolls are staring at you. The movie Childs Play always pops into my head! I was ready to jump out of the boat! On a side note to IASW, this year at Disney on Ice, IASW came to life. As soon as I seen the clock and they started the speil, I went to the concession stand! LOL

This is a great QOTD popcorn::. It's also become 'name the rides you have ever been stuck on' :rotfl2:. It made me think of the Escape from Pompeii...at Busch Gardens again. It is a boat/water ride that takes you up a hill, winds you through a cavern, and drops you down a hill into a gigantic wave of water that guarantees you are wet down to your socks and underware:lmao:. When you reach the cavern they have fire shooting from the water every couple seconds. The boat stopped, but the fire didnt. It was so hot in there! :scared1: There was a cm on a podium who got on an intercom and started talking with us and telling jokes. It really kept our minds off how hot it was. I was never so glad to be soaked to the bone on a water ride. Sweet relief when that boat hit the water.

OMG :eek::eek::eek:

I would have totally freaked!! :scared1: I hate that ride to begin with. I nearly hyperventilated the last time I was on it and swore to never go on it again.
I can not even imagine being stuck in there.

I would love to get stuck on HM! Actually, we did briefly last trip, but just in the hall with the chandeliers.

We got stuck on TSM and you could still shoot, but confetti came out instead and no points were accumulated. It was kind of cute!

We also got stuck on the Great Movie Ride in THE TARZAN ROOM! OMG, I thought I might go insane hearing Tarzan yell OVER AND OVER! It's a funny memory now, we always joke about it!

I am glad I am not the only one who hates that ride.:scared1:I went on that Mission Space back when it first opened, it was the most awful feeling, it literaly took my breath away and I will never go on it again, I heard they have 2 versions now one not as bad but I still will not chance it. If I got stuck on that one , they be taking out my passed out body :rotfl2:

Well gosh! I've never been stuck on any ride. I feel left out! :rotfl2:

If I had to be stuck, I think I'd like it to be Toy Story Mania or the Safari.

We actually did get "stuck" once on the safari for 40 mins. Some giraffes were blocking the path a bit ahead of us, but right in front of us the whole time was 4 grown elephants and a baby eating and playing. It was amazing to watch. When we got going we also got to see the giraffes rather close up. To top it all off it was our second time riding that day because earlier we had been part of a group that got dream fast passes. That day is one of my favorite memories!:lmao:
