Andrea..how fun!!!

Ok...Dining Ressie question...I remember last year I finigled with it 100 times before I actually had my ADR day....what are you all doing this time? I am curious what link you use...I can't remember what all I did, but it seemed like there were 2 ways to pull up the ressie page....just wondering what y'all are thinking is the fastest way to get on and start planning! I have my ressie info, but if I remember right, I had to type it in for each day and each try...seemed kinda long to me...did I go to the wrong page? Give me some links so I can practice tomorrow!!!:rotfl: Seemed like the one I went to yesterday to fiddle with was the same long, drawn-out one I used last year...is this the only way? Wow...sorry for such a ramble mess for one small question!!

Okay Shawna, here is what I do. . . . Go to this link today and get all prepared for tomorrow: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/
Once you are there see where it says "Sort By"? Click that down arrow and go to "Alphabetical". Now, figure out what page each restaurant you want is on and write each page number down with the corresponding restaurant. Then when you log on tomorrow morning you will be all set and ready to go! I was done in less than 15 minutes! Good luck! :wizard:

Oh Shelly, you are a life saver!!! Ha!! I knew you would steer me right!! Ok...well, I am on it!! And, hallelujah, I found my old list that I made with the kids a few weeks back with restaurant faves on it!!!:yay: I tried to remember it all yesterday and was about to panic! So..I now have 2 lists that hopefully match identically!! Thanks again...TTFN!!

So we booke the Swan/Dolphin for our extra 2 nights after the BWV and I am super excited!! We got a great rate of $149..we have wanted to try this place for a while....We plan to use the kids club possible on Friday night to do Epcot for EMH and dinner alone:thumbsup2

yay for you!! Let us know how you like it over there at the Swan/Dolphin...I never really here about it! And you will enjoy the kids club..we did the one at the Beach Club one year and it was great!

I just added Crystal Palace to our ADR's!!! :upsidedow So much for cutting back on the TS because we aren't doing the DDP this time. :rotfl: That makes about 7! I was feeling bad because I know DS11 loves the food there, but he didn't really ask for it because he had already made so many other choices. . . So I don't know if we will keep it or not, but we have it just in-case. I'm not telling the kids. It will be a surprise if we decide to go!! :goodvibes

Jet Blue did that $10 sale again this week and my husband called to let me know, but they weren't flying to Orlando from Philadelphia or Baltimore, so we couldn't do it. So glad someone got to!!
I have 1 more week until ADR's and I am really nervous about Thanksgiving day. We want LTT and I'm worried it will be gone, guess I should figure out a couple of alternatives. The only other reservations I'm going to make are Chef Mickey's for breakfast and 50's Prime Time (haven't done it, but ready to try) for lunch, but those days can be flexible.

Yay!! I looove surprises! Are you sure you shouldn't do the DDP? I know with the 10yos and up being adult it does make a big difference, but by the time (for us) we add in those snax (that we wouldn't normally get, but love to have!!!)it does pay off...it ends up being like our CS lunch and snack (water or ice cream usually) are free!! But...I know u have that super-picky-boy!!!

We loooove the 50s PT!!! I always try to schedule it for a lunch because there is just so much food! It helps to be able to walk it off instead of going straight to bed!! I hope you get LTT for Tday...if not, have you considered the Plaza across from Caseys or Tonys? I think both are great and wouldn't mind it on Turkey day!! I think at the Plaza you could do a turkey sandwich!! LOL

First I have to agree about Andrea having a keeper, oh for the love of a spontanious man :rotfl:

Second although I have never gone to Food & Wine myself, I have been doing a bit of reseach here on the Dis Boards, and from what I have surmised, the rowdy ones come out on the weekends(locals) Friday day is ok but avoid Friday nites, I am planning on doing Epcot for the Food & Wine, Tuesday and Wednesday while there since it is the last week of the Festival and hopeing for less crowds during the week.

This sounds like good, practical advice, thanks! I imagine as F&W gets closer, there will be threads discussing everything from the offerings to the atmosphere.

Sounds like everyone is getting their ADRs all lined up as most of us are at, or getting very close to the magical 180 day mark. It is so much fun reading about everything. The best thing about long term planning - Anticipation!!! No, I am wrong... the best thing is SHARED anticipation!

SHEW! It took me nearly half the day to read all 53 pages!

I'm new to the thread b/c we have just had to postpone our Sept. trip to November! (all the sorted details are in my PTR if you are actually interested. LOL)

This is our third trip, we are going with my friend and her daughter (who we actually went with on our first trip!)

I'm pretty well versed in Disney, but realized when we made the switch that I knew virtually nothing about the Christmas season b/c I thought I would never be able to visit at this time of year! I'm a petsitter and my clients are usually all gone over Thanksgiving and Christmas season. BUT, I decided to head out the week before and be back in time for them to take their trips as well! Ooops...ramble...you'll get used to it. :p

So we are staying at ASMU from Nov. 11-18th! :cool1:

I can't even begin to comment on all the QOTD's, so I'll just jump in from here on out!

Andrea...WOW! We don't have Jet Blue out of St. Louis, but what an amazing whirlwind trip you had! Love it! :lovestruc

:welcome: Karen!!

Congrats on your third WDW trip!! You'll love November ~ It's awesome!! :cool1:

Welcome aboard Karen!! Ramble on! I tend to do it too!! :cutie: I only really get to talk Disney here...so, I just go on and on!!!!!

Hello Karen and Welcome to the November crowd.

Well my obsessive planning is getting the better of me, I changed one of the ressies I made on Wednesday :rolleyes1.......I had made a 4:30 ressie for 50's Prime Time on the night of Fantasmic, my thought process at the time was IF the Osborne Lights are showing my plan is to go to them during Fantasmic then I realized it would be getting dark probally between 5 and 6 and I would be eating
Luckily I was able to book a new ressie for 2:30 so hopefully it will all work out :rotfl:
Still checking Le Cellier for and earlier ressie too :surfweb:

Whew! That's done. This morning was my ADR day! Got everything I was hoping for! Heres the lineup:

Jiko
Tutto Italia
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Chef Mickey's
California Grill
Le Cellier

Now the question is.....what to do with myself for the next 5+ months...lol

Congrates on the Ressies !!!!
You can start to second guess your choices(like me) or sit back and laugh at me agonizeing over changeing my Le Cellier ressie
:rotfl:

all done!!! Surprising..I went for Le Cellier first and snagged it!!! It took me the longest to find something available for the Sat Nov 20...guess with people staying over that holiday weekend..anyway, I finigled a couple of WS dinners around and got all the one we wanted.... as we get closer, I might try to switch a few around..but if not, it's still a darn good plan!!!;)

Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
Garden Grill
Nine Dragons
50s Prime Time
The Plaza
Captains Grill

I have one TS left...I may let the kids do Cape May Cafe for Breakfast on our slow day, or departure day...not sure and it's never been hard to get into when we have stayed there....so...I am gonna try to take a nap! I didn't sleep worth a fig trying to not miss my window! I had to be on at 5!!!!! Nighty night November buddies!!!!

Oh believe me....I will be second guessing myself! Always do....:rotfl:

What happened with your Le Cellier ADR? Are you looking for a different day or time?

Looking Good :thumbsup2
Go take that well deserved nap now, I know just what you mean about not being able to sleep, the night before my ADR day I woke at 2:30am and could not fall back to sleep, worrying I would not hear the alarm :rotfl2:

Hopeing to snag an earlier time Tuesday and Wednesday are my planned Epcot days and the only dinner ressie I could get on my 180 ADR day at 6pm was for 8:15 pm

OH, I hope you get it like you want it!! Just keep checking...I know so many people get more than one and then cancel....It's hard planning so far n advance...I mean, I KNOW we are going to be the only people there and the weather is going to be a perfect 75-78 degrees with a slight breeze, enough sun & shade and no rain...but still.....the PLANNING!!!:rotfl:

Now...I can rest for a while. But, I have to say--Shelly chime in here---it's a lot less stressful at 180 days than it was last year at 90. That was ridiculous!! I couldn't believe they had changed it...but I am just so grateful they put it back!!! Talk about stress!!
