I heard this theory too but not until after I SAW the timer (yes, virginia, it does exist). when I checked it was the 2004 date. After clearing cookies, I got 2008 but no ticker since then. Now it's back to 2004, I'm just going to leave it!

I think it is completly luck because otherwise the rest of us still waiting and trying all the suggestions from others would have been sucessful by now.

Well that was me starting that little rumor since someone mentioned looking at the press release and she got the video come up. So of course all of us went and looked at the press release except mine was from 2004. I was ticked and then others started checking. It is kinda crazy because it goes on and off. Sometime the delete cookies thing works, sometimes signing back into the site. But DON"T GO BY ME because I have never seen the video and I have been on the site for more than three days and NIGHTS!

Problem is... he has taken a new job in VA (I'm in NH) and he moved last month. So he flew "home" last night to spend 2 nights with me... he leaves for VA again tomorrow.

I know I'm being terrible for even thinking this way, but gosh.... how often do I get the chance to get a Disney hotel for $1????

To Whom It Concerns...i Have Had The Timer 2x. I Am In Pa On The East Coast. I Was Online For Hours When It Happened...i Was Not Logging In And Out...i Never Cleared Any Cookies And I Was Refreshing(although Not Constantly).....it Just Worked...i Hope It Works Again.....

Thanks..I was online this am 6-7am when a number of people reported the timer. I'm Pa EST and never once saw any timer during the entire hour. Guess the pixie dust is not in my corner

I just had to chime in that I really feel for those of you trying to have kids. We had no problem getting pregnant, just staying pregnant. I now have 3 beautiful boys (bio) and we adopted a little girl from Ethiopia. If anyone looks into adoption, look at Ethiopia. You can adopt a young baby and they are absolutely beautiful!!

thanks for the info!we wanted to do panama as i think it is cheaper,but who knows when you factor everything in..and my kids are half panamanian anyway.i believe my poor hubby thinks that if we adopted a child i would suddenly have a fertile surge and he would end up w/4plus kids!, which to me sounds grreat, but i think is scary for him)they supposedly give preference to citizens in panama who are trying to adopt, and my husband is still considered a citizen, but i never knew about ethipoian adoptions..THANKS

I'm not really on the boards anymore. I orignally started with trying to plan our first Disney trip and obsessed over every detail of it. I was on all the dining and planning threads. TOtal OCD and was on all the time, Then after the trip I was hoping by board obsession woudl go away, and it didn't , I started going on all the same threads to answer everyone elses questions and help people like I was helped. Then that got boring eventually and I went of to the community board and started getting sucked in by the politics and religion thread and arguing about all the things you can't argue with people about in real life (without losing friends at least) and let my OCD get me addicted there. then eventually that got tiresome. And I moved on. Now we want to go to Disney this summer (although we will have to stay offsite if I can't win this darn contest!) SO that is why I had popped in to read about offsite places on the Orlando Accomadations board and I occasionally check out the budget board when I'm looking to buy something. So that is how I found this thread and found out about the promo. But now I am just so over the boards. (except for this thread) because I was too obsessed with it for too long, that I don't even feel like getting into it again or planning our trip (isnt that nuts?) I'm also just too busy. I just feel like Ialready knwo everything there is to know, so there is no draw. So after this ,I will probably just be an occasional budget board visitor.

This morning is not when I saw the timer...it was Tuesday and Wednesday...in the AM. I was online on the site early this morning and was getting so excited waiting for it because of everone on the East Coast winning....but no...I did not get it.....I just need one more shot! LOL! Help me please, i cannot wait until this is over!!!

Just something to think about! It took us 15 months total- from the very start of paperwork until she came home. Most of the children are abandoned so it is just a paperwork and court process. And, if you are open to gender the wait is shorter.
You also have the option of escorting or traveling to Ethiopia. pm me if you want more info!

You probably have time. I just got back from eating lunch with both DD's. Half hour lunch each with 25 minutes in between and didn't miss anything. And no, I didn't eat two lunches. Half a lunch with each of them, I think that I am already wider just from sitting in this chair for the last week and a half
