Sadly we all awoke to our last day of this short trip. I spent most of my early morning “alone time” outside on the patio, enjoying my coffee and the company of my fine feathered (duck) friends that visited me each morning.

It was going to be a beautiful day and I was so sad to be leaving when I just barely got here!

When the guys finally woke up we took our time getting ourselves together. We had a 2pm flight back and ever since I opened my eyes I was wondering if I should get them up and drag them to a park for a couple of hours. In theory it sounded great, but I decided against it. The new kinder, gentler me decided to just wing it. Hang out, relax, enjoy some “down time”. I know - I can’t believe it either, but it’s true.

We took our time packing and loading up the rent-a-beat and decided to walk up and grab breakfast at Artist’s Palette. It was then that I heard this sweet little voice say something “Excuse me…are you a Disboards member?” I turned around and met Disney-Super-Mom and her DH. If you haven’t read her TR by the way, click here and check it out. Good stuff…they had a magical trip! We chatted with DSM and her DH on the way to breakfast and she told us that they were there KIDLESS…lucky devils! I’m so jealous!

They were so cute together…like they were on a second honeymoon or something. Again, can’t tell you how jealous I was! But anyway, they were very nice to chat with and we parted ways near the restaurant. I had to keep repeating her user name over and over to myself until I got to the cash register so I could get a pen and write it down. I didn’t even take a picture of them for their “cameo appearance”, so if you want to see them, check out her TR!

Anyway, we grabbed a yummy breakfast and enjoyed that…there’s something about Disney’s scrambled eggs…YUMMMM. OR it could be that other than Christmas morning, Disney World is the only other place I eat scrambled eggs? I dunno.

We sat down next to this couple who looked how I felt. Sure enough, they were going home too. I think I must look that way too. DH recognized it as well. And laughed at me.

Anyway, I don’t have any pictures for our last morning…kinder, gentler me, remember?

At least I got some of this down on “paper” FINALLY though!!

We never do anything except swim on the last day cos with a 9 hour flight ahead of us we don't want to be all sticky from the heat!

And I'm not really wanting this to end, since we've got a long time 'till August, (unless you use V's Fuzzy Disney Calendar, in which we don't count the present month or the month of travel, in which case we're down to 4 months! ), but still...

Ohhhhh, I just hate those "last" mornings when you know you have to go home - so depressing. But hey, one great thing about this morning was WE GOT TO MEET! I'm so glad I spotted your lime green mickey head! I've never met a Disser before so I wasn't prepared to write down your name or somehow incode it in my brain. Thank goodness you did and found me on the boards! See how together you are - you're a true DisBoard Professional!

Yep, we met at SSR on the way to breakfast! And later we discovered that we stayed in the same building at SSR, so our meeting was FATE!

You SHOULD be worrying about me...I'm even worrying about me...and I don't think it's "kinder, gentler" messages we need to worry about...maybe him smothering me with a pillow!! We had to get into the whole fuzzy Disney math conversation AGAIN last night...simply because I mentioned I'd booked the Fantasmic dinner package for our first night (Mistake #1) and asking if he wanted to go out one night - you know, maybe try for the Flying Fish/Jellyrolls combo we had to cancel in December (Mistake #2)...He said no. Emphatically. Then babbled something about "eating dinner in" a few nights...then I was again forced to 'esplain AGAIN that we're in a studio...yada yada yada...argh...He thinks I'm trying to pull something over on him...he just doesn't listen! So it was another night of arm-flailing-eyebrow-raising-head-rolling fun at our house again!!

All was well. It appeared our Heroine had won the battle. But did she??

I spent all day sweating out the details of the newly announced P & P Party and dates and places...I'd made ADR's for Cape May Cafe' for Friday the 24th...Then panic set in...like a really big Ebay item was down to 2 minutes with a serious bidding war going on (Note to self - check "watched items") so I booked Tony's (Ehhh..I know...) for 6pm on the 21st with full intention of buying P & P tickets. I know it's arrival day...but still!

I ran this by "the boss" this evening... results were laughable yet again...I was accused of - get this - loving "it" more than him. And now that I've got my DVC I don't need him anymore" OMG - does someone need a HUG or what?!?!?

So not one to let little things like this go, I had to know just what the "IT" was...well, the Mouse himself. My DH is jealous of Mickey Mouse!!!

I've heard it all now!! I've got to get all of this over to a Pre-Trip...this is gonna be an interesting few months!!

I can't remember if you kept this or not, but have you ever gone to Cape May Cafe-we have Easter Nite booked and the menu is sort of turning my stomache, what is this "mussel" and "crab" stuff. And they took the
Prime Rib off and put Sirloin Steak on. Help me!!!
