Who has the Swan luggage cart pic from the Gals trip??? :rotfl:

Yes Blue- Swan will transfer your stuff to the GF for you. We loaded (and by this I mean LOADED!!) the luggage cart at 9am and the luggage was at the Grand when we called for it at 4. We seriously had about 16 pieces of assorted luggage. :rolleyes1 Not one piece lost. :) Swan did a great job on the transfer.

Hi, Shel!! LOL....I would love to have a copy of that pic too!!!:rotfl: I think Siobhan has it.:goodvibes I have pics of poor Miguel trying to fit it all into the limo at MCO.....:rotfl2:

Hi GF Gals,

I herd MelissaRI's request for a GF review on the podcast. I put in a little suggestion for a review too;) Maybe they will take my suggestion although it didnt sound like Pete was to excited to do a review of the place. Maybe Corey and Julie would be up to it. :flower3:

One last May question I swear. What is the weather like at night in May. In November it is freezing and I have to pack long sleeves and a coat. Any tips for May nights. TIA

Channing, I just have to tell you, I love the pix of your dog. My brother has his 2nd and 3rd (a puppy) Newfie. Sweetest dogs...:goodvibes

OH! That's neat....I haven't heard that podcast yet. I know I have heard Pete say he wouldn't feel comfortable walking thru the lobby in shorts etc... :confused3 He must be under the impression the resort is something it's not. Maybe staying there and doing a review would be a good thing....except he will find out the truth and broadcast to all that it is a very FRIENDLY & welcoming resort and then it will be even more difficult to get a room and discount there.:rotfl:

Thanks, Kaye!!
She is my first Newfie:lovestruc ...but I am so grateful every day that I have her!!:goodvibes I bought her on a whim.... I just knew I had to have her. :lovestruc We were meant for each other. :rotfl: She is amazing - so sweet & loving and sooooo unbelievably smart.:goodvibes I have owned & known many other breeds but nothing compares to a Newf.:thumbsup2

The weather in May is GOREGEOUS!!! No coats needed, I promise! It is warm but not humid yet. We went last year right after Mother's Day and it was in the low to mid 80's the whole time- it was GREAT!

In our Mother's Day weekend (May) 2008 pics we are all in tees and tanks, even at night in the parks.

Liz,
I forgot to answer this part of your question!! :rotfl: I knew I was going to be posting about my dog so my mind moved ahead...:rotfl:

We have had beautiful warm weather in our May trips. Light sweaters and jackets at night max. :thumbsup2 We wear capris and shorts/skorts & tees during the day.

Happy Day....

Hi GF Gals,

One last May question I swear. What is the weather like at night in May. In November it is freezing and I have to pack long sleeves and a coat. Any tips for May nights. TIA

We've taken several May trips in the last few years and I agree with everyone else. It's very warm then. I checked allears and the average high is 88 and low 66. I always have light jackets along in case of an unusually cold evening and also because we still need them at home but don't remember ever needing them. In fact, some trips it's actually been a bit too warm for me.

Fellow GF fans, some of us are headed to WDW next week. We're not staying at the GF this time but have several dining reservations there. Does anyone want me to do some GF research?

What a very gracious offer :) Don't tell me you're going to V&A again!! :rotfl: I think you are spoiled! princess: (in a good way ;) )

I actually do have a question re. Garden View Lounge. I will PM you~ Thanks!

LOL, I'm afraid I am spoiled. But no V&A this trip. We're having dinner at Citricos and breakfast and at least two lunches at GF Cafe. I'd love to go back to Narcoossee's too. We had a perfect meal there in January. But it's our daughter's favorite dinner at WDW and she won't be there. I'd feel too guilty dining there without her. Would miss her too much there too.:sad1:

Sounds wonderful. We love Citrico's! You're sweet to save Narcoossee's for when your daughter is traveling with you :lovestruc

Have a GREAT trip BCV23 :wizard:

Thanks, johnsonet.:goodvibes I need to get off this computer and accomplish something!

You will love going in May! Perfect weather!! Like the others have said, I always pack a light sweater or two for our early June trips but rarely need them. :)

Good Afternoon Everyone!

tinker*shell Thank you! I am liking this idea more and more...:thumbsup2 and I'd really like to see that picture of the luggage cart!!:rotfl:

Channing Thanks again and again...for all of the info...:goodvibes I'd like to see a picture of Miguel loading up the limo too...:rotfl: (BTW who had the most luggage...inquiring minds want to know!!)

BCV I would like to know about the menu at Citricos...Have that on my ADR list for next trip and we havent eaten there in a long time...thanks and enjoy your trip...:)

IWISHFOR DISNEY I think May is a wonderful month for weather...nothing like November at all where you need to be prepared for more than one season...:rotfl: I agree with the others though never hurts to have a light weight hoodie or jacket along..just in case!:) I am a just in case kinda gal!!! Makes it kind of hard to pack light!!!

I'm going to try and sneak a short trip in next May, the kids get a week off school and we'll still have our AP's so we might as well take advantage of them. We usually come over in the summer which as we all know is hot & humid :beach: When we were over towards the end of September last year it was still hot but the humidity had gone, is May like that?

Yes please :goodvibes

Does anyone know how deep the lagoon is around narcootsies?
I keep having this weird daydream of falling in.
Those little resort boats dont look to sturdy. :scared1:

TinkTatoo - May should be much less humid than September. Late September tends to be rainy AND is prime hurricane season. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with the weather in May. Hope you get to take that trip!

I thought I was paranoid but Pete sounded less than thrilled with my GF review suggestion
Hopefully someday they will do a piece on our beloved GF. I know Kevin & John love Citricos and Narcoosseess :cheer2:

I must say it was a thrill to hear them read my e-mail
